A while back the Robogear condor was discussed at some length.

For those unfamiliar with the kit, there's a pretty good review (not my review) of it here:
http://prowla.net/?p=212
I recently received a couple in the mail, but haven't inspected/reviewed them yet. However, there's a second flyer now avaialble, the "Hornet". I've now got three of these babies on the way now.

They're a bit "chibi" in their dimensions, but they are less than $10 online and definitely have a 40k look to them. I'm tentatively planning on a Condors for Vendetas in my IG army and Hornets for my Blood Angels, though I may end up kitbashing them together something like what I did with a batch of first generation robogear flyer parts.

Truthfully, I bought them on a whim, but does anybody have any experience with these either stock or kitbashed?

Hey those look like they would make some great Ork flyers. Can you take a size comparison shot of it with something else? A vehicle preferably but any mini would do really.

The link above (not my review) has a couple of comparison shots with the condor and a marine.

Various sellers on Ebay. If you punch Robogear into the search engine, they'll all come up.

their good for kit bashing but on their own they kinda look like happy meal toys :3 though that might just be because of the colour of the plastic

Another reason its good to be an Ork. You can make rounded edges sharp, and either cover parts with patch panels, or just hack it off and make something new there. Some years ago, if I said "Make an Ork vehicle out of a Mr Potato Head" you would laugh. Now though, people have made plenty of badass Mr potato head stompas

I like the Condor, its got the cartoonish vibe like the Stormtalon...guess its from growing up in the GI Joe days, but I like that style.

I know exactly which GI Joe vehicle you're thinking of. It has a cockpit just like the condor. Also with two huge engines, but no wings.

Here's another condor done up as a Squat vehicle.

Dakka Gallery search reveals a few also.

The only review I could find of the Hornet is here and it's in french.
http://www.mylittleminiatures.com/2012/06/open-box-robogear-condor-et-hornet.html
A pic from that review:

I'd like to know whether the large launchers on the wings are integral or just attached on top. I guess I'll know soon enough anyway...

It's also looking more and more like I could use the Condor wings to lengthen the Hornet wings and stick that section on the Condor cockpit for a vehicle that doesn't look quite so "Chibi".
