Hey mates. After gather enough models to proxy what I need at the moment (mostly Infantry as I am still waiting on an order from ebay ), I was able to come up with a 2,000 point list that is not only a very themed, mechanized Steel Legion army list , but one that I feel will be very effective in coming games. Now granted this is my very first attempt at it and comments are most welcome so tell me what you guys think.

Not too bad if I dont say so myself. The list has a lot of firepower, on top being mobile if I happen to come across a more defensive army, and what makes it even better is that this list has a lot of AP2 and AP 1 weaponry, ideal for taking out a terminators and the dreaded Drago-Wing with hopefully not too much difficulty, along with horde armies such as Orcs and the Blob-IG, and the Master of Ordnance is there for the extra S9, AP3 Pie-Template which can come in handy against a number of opponents. However the only things I am still debating is that I am considering switching out the Demolishers for standard LRBT for the longer range, and if I should take Hvy. Bolters instead of Hvy. Flamers on my Chimeras for the extra shooting.

I'm liking the list, its well balenced and competitive, the only thing I would do is get rid of the Exterminator for 2 hydras in a squad. You're going to need the anti-air when people bring flyers. And Hyrdras can pop light tanks too. Then to fill in the rest of the points, add multi-melta sponsons on your demolishers. Then you have 10 more points left.

Multi-Meltas on my Demolishers isn't a bad idea mate, however with the new snapshot rules, I don't think I would be able to fire it unless the Lumbering Behemoth rule allows me to fire one sponsor/hull mounted weapon at normal BS. And besides that, the S10 Demolisher Cannon can be used very easily to wipe out a vehicle now since now for armor penetration, Ordnance weapons roll 2D6 and take the highest, giving me a better chance at penetrating or glancing a vehicle.

As for taking on fliers, the option I was considering was taking Pask in a Punisher w/hvy bolters. No granted it will be only S6 however it does give me a good chance to glance an enemy flier to death with 29x shots.
