lol...yellow...I can´t see that on this one...^^

well...as miliput can be smoothed with water even while you sculpt I thought it more practical and maybe even more cost effective...but we all have our little ways so everyone needs to find their own modus operandi for himself...

and I was thinking something rather ...well...not so kind too... will you do something about the manboobs of yon servitor or is that a certain look that needs these bewbies? just trying to join you in your vision^^

Vik, I wantyou to be disturbed by my servitor's manboob's... they jiggle unpleasantly yet hypnotically.

Anyway, got some basic colours laid down, need to work on the faces next:

OOoo i like Brother Thane with his smart phone His flesh looks especially good.

white balance

they are all good looking...but...
I think they all could do with a bit of some spot colour...if you ask me...

some do have some of these... the scout for instance... the shoulder pad looks very good...
specially the borg-ish characters could do with either more glowy or some other spot color... maybe you should add there the yellow again...to really tie them in together as a team?...I think the most problems I have curiously with Thane... he is mostly a blob of black with a face on top... don´t get me wrong, I see how much you´ve worked on him...but look again to his mid section... the bolterstrap, or the chest piece...nice highlights but still everything is "just" black there...how about picking out the skull on his chest with a bit of colour here?...tho...when zooming in I have to pay respect for the auspex... that looks very good!!!

Don't be daft I really appreciate it! Having done a bit more research it turns out DW often use red as a spot colour on the weapons and gold on details so will take that on board. Likewise, some lights on the borgy ones might not go amiss.

*pheeewww* I was worried I could have crossed a line... was waiting for that response all day...

red sounds very good, and a bit of posh gold never hurts^^

and yep...make your "borg" glow...

I do like a bit of osl! The glow around the neck was specifically from trek.

Well, Sepulturum, yes; hence the reason I'm using standard, rather than lipped, bases. Next league game is a week on Weds; currently riding high atop the league, so fingers crossed. I have made a couple of suggestions to the store manager about rules tweaks which may or may not be implemented. The Xenos squad are painted for a mate so he can join; the ogryn is just a pleasant distraction. Having said that, I'm planning on generally putting together a few teams for casual play with friends, one of which the ogryn is for (Ordo Malleus =][= in Terminator Armour, 3x Heavy Bolter Servitor, Mystic).
