I made a bet awhile back with my boss that I could paint 1500 points worth of

in a single weekend. I went for a pretty simple color scheme and I think I pulled it off.

I'll post more pictures later as I take more, but for now I have some Crisis Suits, a half squad of the Fire Warriors, a Broadside (I know there are paint chips... I need to clean it up) and a Rhino I'm working on that will be part of my Space Marine allies force.

They would also never join up with Chaos. Haha... I would think it was less of a stretch to think that loyalist marines might join up with a Tau Cadre if they thought it would benefit humanity somehow.

Also, the Rhino is gonna have a 10 man tactical squad with it. I just haven't finished painting them yet.

Marines join chaos, and not only for power, but sometimes for the only feeling of fredom it gives in the first decades... Space Marines like Salamanders and some sucessor chapters, who dont exactly follow the imperial chart, but work for a greater good in their own, could be tempted to join in the tau empire.

Can i give an ideia? Make them a type of "tau deathwatch", where the space marines really joined the greater good, coming from a bunch of diferent chapters and now try to work together for the tau concept. Even plan some specific heraldry: a related "chapter" symbol, and tau related adorns (like the bonding knife).
