Statuesque Miniatures is pleased to announce the release of our Female Resistance Fighters! These 32mm tall metal figures all feature separate, poseable heads and separate SMG weapons allowing different combinations for more variety.

Also released are the first of a range of Resistance Fighter Accessories designed to fit the Resistance Fighter figures. Protect your resistance fighters with the Helmeted Heads and arm them for the stuggle with the Resistance Fighters Weapons 1.

The Female Resistance Fighters set is priced at £11. Alternatively, purchase 2 sets for £10 each or purchase 3 or more sets for £9 each.

The Resistance Fighter Accessories are priced at £1.90 each. Order 2 or more Helmeted Heads, you'll get a 10% discount on those items and if you order 2 or more Weapons 1 sprues, you'll get a 10% discount on those.

In time I will add specialist fighters and more head and weapon options, but don't hang around – Recruit your Resistance Fighters today for the struggle against oppression!

I have also just put the finishing touches to the new Online Store. You can reach the store via the link on the www.statuesqueminiatures.co.uk homepage, or directly at http://statuesqueminiatures.shop033.com. Eventually, I'll redirect the old address to the new shop. I hope this new store will provide a better shopping experience, as well as allowing me to easily offer quantity discounts and special offers! If you have any issues with the Online Store please contact me.

Regards,

Andrew Rae

If you could just model those legs and the berets for the ladies I would probably buy about 40 or 50 of them to add to cadian bodies. If you could run a series of ladies arms I would really love it!

Thanks for the replies.

Just realised I'd made a mistake with the Resistance Fighter Accessories discount. Arrrgh! Turns out the discount didn't apply as a mix and match discount. So now, if you order 2 or more Helmeted Heads, you'll get a 10% discount on those items and if you order 2 or more Weapons 1 sprues, you'll get a 10% discount on those.

Sorry for the confusion- I'm still learning the new shop..

Lovely and awesome

I like a lot all your range of female models, they look like real women and not like 'others' companies, that seems to think that a woman is a brute with breasts...

And really a great price too, or is it a typo?

No typo: £11 for the set, 2 sets for £10 each and 3 or more sets for £9 each. I'd like (need!) to sell lots of these!

In addition to the already (quite) commented-upon fact that these women don't have ridiculously sized chests, and are wearing no armor calling attention to their busts, I think that the best thing about them is the very good quality of the faces. Several female miniatures that I've seen have such fugly heads/faces that they look like men wearing bad wigs. UGLY men wearing bad wigs...

These on the other hand actually look like women. And like actual "resistance fighters" or whatever you want to call them/use them as.

The coats are pretty ace too, and the fact that there's a little bit of variation between the 4. Price is pretty good too - I might just have to think about these for some IG lady renegades, or possibly Alpha Legion "cultists"...

Keep up the good work, make some more great stuff like this, and keep us here on Dakka posted!!

Thanks again, folks. Regarding ridiculous chests, some of the other Statuesque figures may have some of that going on but I wanted these girls to be the grunts, so reckoned too much cleavage may draw too much attention to them!

Should do, I reckon. Here's a quick shot of some of the Statuesque girls hangin' out:

I spent a lot of time trying to make sure these digi-sculpts matched my previous work as well as possible, including having the heads reprinted at 5% (0.25mm!!) bigger. The most expensive 0.25mm I've ever had to pay for, I think!

I like the heads. Think I need to see a scale shot with GW and forge world imperial guard before I buy though.

Very nice models. I don't have to mention the boob thing.

I like boobs, but some models are just ridiculous.

The only problem I have with these miniatures is that they all share the same face. Some sculptors like Scibor and Werner Klocke reproduce their one lucky face sculpt for all miniatures they produce. A second or third female face would be an improvement (and I am not talking about the same face with a different hat/cap/helmet).

Maybe they're all clones?

In all seriousness, I agree with you. Perhaps a little more variation in facial features would be a good idea. More variety can never hurt.

I hear you, guys. The intention for these figures was for them to be the red shirts or grunts of the Resistance Fighter range so I didn't want too much individuality, though I will say they appeared more individual on screen! Oh well, it's something to improve for next time and I'm having a lot of fun working on the faces for the next releases.

One thing to remember is that painting them will provide a lot more individuality. Even the clothing, as it's not a uniform, can be painted in different colours and shades, some camo, that kind of thing, to really bring some more variety to a larger squad.

Can anyone comment on how tall these are compared to a GW IG figure?

I'd seen your running model and sniper while ago, but never found 'normal' models to go with them. Awesome.

Maybe I can find a way to get these into infinity.
