Played two games with my Goreshade2 army vs Cygnar and Merchenarise.
Both ended with killing the enemy caster.
Goreshade2 is a bad guy.

After having painted that pair of statues I felt like making some more monolithic Pre-War architecture for Fallout. To that end then I've started on a war memorial to go along with my Fallout terrain set. Its sort of going to look like a scaled down Washington Monument, but with vaguely art deco styling and some mournful faces on each of its sides to tie it in with the Fallout look. Its just the frame right now, but hopefully I'll be able to post something more substantial in my thread tomorrow.

Today is a landmark day. I applied the first layer of paint to some space marines since the late nineties. It was just a bit of spray primer, and I am well out of practise. But it's a milestone none the less.

It's a first step on a long road leading into plastic crack hell.

Thanks I'm already addicted again. And it's easier than ever to splurge a load of money on this stuff. Back in the nineties, I would have had to go 40 miles to get my fix. Now it's just a couple of clicks away.

I'm currently so angry at WaylandGames trying to screw with me over a miniature as part of a nearly £170 bundle I ordered that I'm probably not going to be going to my gaming club tonight.
Currently still advertised on WaylandGames site:
The response from Wayland Games?
Wayland Games wrote:"The free miniature came only came with orders placed before the end of November 2014. As your order was placed after this date the miniature was not included."
I'm not even certain the book was announced in November 2014. I used to be one of the supporters of Wayland when people complained about their slow delivery times but the amount of hoops I've been jumping through on my last 2 orders is just utterly shockingly bad.

Nope, truth be told, I think Wayland Games have gotten it completely mixed up with the Infinity rulebook (which I don't even have nor play).
Am they going to even admit that, their mistake and send me my darned mini?
We'll see... But, I'm thinking...

May as well make a hubub about false advertisement then. Really twist there nips on it. Edit: if some on doesn't then they are going to keep doing it.

Yup, you have them by the nuts. Take proper screen grabs of them advertising on their site today and email them telling them unless it's resolved you will be going to trading standards and a solicitor. Automatically Appended Next Post: Update on my marines, the primer coat came out too thick, so basically I screwed up, more practise required. The models are already in a vat of detol ready for rebirth.

Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?
|
After a week of inactivity, I decided that today, right now, I would absolutely, 100%, with no ifs nor buts, paint something. I would paint the Harlequin that has been mocking me from the back of the desk for the last month.
I sit down to paint, and lo and behold, the little bugger has vanished, gone AWOL, moved on to pastures new...

And... that takes all of your time and you fail to paint!
Or.. at least that's what happens to me all the time, can't find the sculpting tool or my hobby knife... sigh.
Did some airbrush work yesterday, nothing I'm ready to show off though, so I'm hoping to put those models to the brush tonight and move them along a bit.

Paint is happening on the Harlies! I found a scheme on the web that is exactly what I was going for in my head, and copied it straight away! Zenithal black and white with two spot colours, perfectly fits their style.

After yesterday's primer disaster I've gone back to basics. I decided to do some very simple basing on some very old marines. Essentially PVA glue and some sand. So far I'm pleased with the look, tomorrow I'm going to give priming another shot.
