Still trying to hammer out my base 1500pt list. I'm worried that I have no real CC as this has shifted to a pure shooty list, so thoughts are appreciated. Let me know what you think.

Truthfully I have no idea, the plan is to shoot the piss outa threats like that first and foremost but beyond that I'm pretty much at a loss for CC. In fact I had a horrible problem one game where a DC dread basically tabled my army after assaulting out of a storm raven (though I admit I rolled horribly for shooting) so advice is appreciated.

My point was to suggest you need Warscythes for you squad(s). Zandrekh is a nice HQ but he lacks an Armour poercing weapon for CC, so he needs Obyron or a Royal Court babysitter to be effective.

Simple problem to solve shoot the dread to death before it gets in combat instead of buying expensive lords. The list has plenty of at to not have to worry about dreads assaulting.

Necrons don't need armor piercing weapons in cc just shoot em no point spending lots of points on oberon or cc lords.

Ok as for what I would do to the list ;

Drop a doomscythe and the immortal squad down to 5 men then add another nightscythe with 5 immortals and a stormtek

Drop the scarbs add another a barge, 3 scarbs won't do anything before Geting killed and I don't think scarbs fit the list anyway so is just drop them.

Not sure about the stalker you don't have a huge deal to benifit from its twin linking I would drop it for ether more warriors or another ghost arc

Yes he does, and good luck with your list when a Blood Angel list Drop Pods a Death Dread or assaults,out of a Storm Raven.

Ok but you have a turn to kill the dread that has dropped down and a turn to shoot the stormraven while it comes on the board since you cannot assult from reserve and if we are talking about bloodclaw dreads here no amount of warscythes will save in cc they are I 5 and will munch a unit before you can get a strike in.
