I'll be finishing up a few issure with the Keeper tonight, but I probably won't get around to molding him until next week, I've got to order some more silicon rubber. The stuff I got right now is the expense transparent kind, great for minis when your cutting open the mold. But the Keepers a big model so I wouldn't want to do a cut mold on it, as it'd waste allot of expensive material. So, I'll have to make a matrix mold. Which, time consuming and requires the mixing plaster and silicon, along with building a complicated a clay bed and mold box, and takes at mnimum two days. Definitely not for the sqimish. Since, I'm planning it now I might as well make a tutorial out of the process.

But, to answer your question about a week or so.

you need one demoneete (to please slannesh) doing something REALLY obscene (not quite as far as doing the do, but close, maybe toys or summit) lol

I love the 3rd demonette on the right of the last batch. The pose, with one hand up and skipping along almost seems like a sadistic and malicious 'well hellooo there. I've spotted you. We're going to have fun' sort of vibe.

I'm speechless. To see all the big ones lined up like that. So fluid, organic, living they look. I'd be terrified by facing this army on the battlefield. They are so beautiful, I am so ugly, how can they not crush me?

Duude. EPIC!!!! Long time lurker of this thread, first-time poster (i think, might have done 1 already but who cares!).

I've just got to say how much i admire your work, the concepts are amazing and, unlike so many projects similar to this, you have the skills to do the concepts justice. Bravo! This is why i didn't do a slaanesh section for my Chaos Daemons, GWs concepts are average at best and i don't have the time or effort required to make slaanesh daemons look good. Clearly you do. I would probably be interested were you to sell casts of the KoS and/or the daemonettes.

Sersi, so I got my army done to where it was playable at 4am the day of the tourny hahaha, everybody loved the suits and I had crouds of people around them all the time! Won best army, sportsman and took 2nd overall!!

Okay, so I'm trying to get the pregger's done tonight, and needed to get the legs for the throne done. I was going to go with mechanical looking styrene legs...until I realized that the legs on the other grinder were just the right size.



Sometimes in the course of making something cool, sacrifices must be made... So, reluctantly took out my dremel and chopped my six-legged grinder up for spare parts.



Now, don't feel to bad as she just wasn't working out: to symmetrical, to static, to boring, not sexy enough. Exhibit A:



Anyway here's the idea I'm going with now:






I'm thinking of making the chain legs mechanical, say like hedonism bot from Futurama. Someone suggested it before, but I don't recall who. Comments and suggestions are as always welcome.

mechanical would be much easier on the overall and would convey the machine aspect of it, but I think what you have there is a solid work piece too.

Now, see I just turned 36 today and I'm already going blind, I totally missed your post. Good one buddy, couldn't be happier if it were me winning. Best army huh? Sweet. I do believe that you own us some pics of that army of yours.

Now, on the painting. I did actually start but then I kidnapped by some friends and dragged to the bar...against my will...okay against my wifes will. However, I will be painting tonight come hell or high water.

See you guys have me all confused, one says their to small another say their to big... All I can say is that the legs do in fact support her off the tabletop.

I like the new legs for the preggo's throne, however I think they are lacking something. Something which would make them more 40k. That something is stiletto heels.

Looking forward to seeing some painted figures as well.
