Friggin' Crap! I knew I had forgotten something!

Great work guys, sorry I forgot to snap and post some painted pics of the magos.. I'll post them here (if appropriate) or in my Alpha Legion P&M blog as a sideshow in a day or two.. university has me so damn swamped I have zero free time this last month.

I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.

@LogisEngine- I NEED to see those pics. As I posted on the last page, I think yours is my favorite "unfinished" one... seeing it painted would be awesome!

Good work everyone! I didn't participate (there is no chance I would have finished in time!), but I've enjoyed following from the beginning. Hope to see more like this...

Good work everyone. Sadly, I ran out of time to finish painting my entry. Nice to see at least someone made the deadline.

I have the results of the last chamber: You are a horrible person.
That's what it says: A horrible person...
We weren't even testing for that.

I forgot to write my fluff. It was optional anyway.
However here it is if anyone is interested.

Spoiler:
"The Psyker stood on an Icy plateau behind a line of heavy fortifications surveying the carnage of battle below. After just days of fighting the foul stench of rotting bodies could be smelt from miles away and was carried across the trenches by the howling wind. The cacophony of the chaotic battle being fought at the forward line below would have numbed and distorted the mind of a lesser man, except his mind was as tranquil as the bleak mountain ranges of his home world of Macragge, a solace amongst a sea of terror.
He looked around at the rag tag survivors of the 4th Regiment of the Ollanius IV PDF. Murmuring feverishly amongst themselves their faces were as white as the snow of their barren Ice world home. Their weary officer was uncertainly relaying orders to his troops. The Psyker could sense his true enemy was close. The purpose of his presence here was about to be fulfilled. He took a deep breath and cleared his mind focusing on the task ahead.
His refocused his attention on the battle below, all was quiet. The Chaos Space Marines had won. He picked up his warding staff and started going through his battle litanies. It was time. He steadied himself for the combat he knew would come. He could already hear the screams of guardsmen as they were slaughtered mercilessly in their trenches as deep striking Chaos Terminators teleported into the battle the names of their false Gods on their lips. He could see them rapidly advancing along his straight cutting down and guardsmen that were brave enough to stand in their way. The Psyker could see the vicious, scared face of his target below a malicious scowl on his face and his crimson hair tied up in a top knot. Summing up all his physic might and rallying the few surviving PDF the Psyker prepared to engage his foe."

LOL, no problem- I'm part of the other group (and that recent flow happens there too, and there's only 8-10 of us!), but I'm here at this thread to see converted wizards, for the sake of conversion and "oohing/aahing", as well as benchmark my own creation against our group and this one... So many great ideas here with final/WIP work to back it up.

The public PMW participants obviously didn't disappoint!

Congratulations to all of you, for attempting the challenge! We've got a few more days to go until we're done with ours as well... congrats again, and one thing for all of you-

How are you using this Mini? I saw on Panic's DE thread, he's using it for a fiend ()... how about you others? Or is it just a trophy piece?

I'm planning on using mine as a commissar lord counts as for my guard as the fluff for the army says they are led by an inquisitor and a rogue trader. He may also be fielded as Creed or an inquisitor in larger games

I'll be using mine as a - you guessed it: An Imperial Priest for my IG Army. That's if I can think of a way to include one armed with an overly expensive Eviscerater!

I've finally found enough time to sit down and comment properly. Great post panic having them all in one place... so I'll go off that order.

Imperial Monkey - Love it. Really do. Using the building exhaust/terminator(?) crux eagle on top of the staff looks great. The rust on the armour and staff really stands out against the blue.

Llamahead - I like the skin tone, especially on the legs...Very off putting and very chaotic

Rabies - That is really creepy...nice use of spawn parts, might have to borrow this for one of my scavvies. I like the yellowy brown robes...what colours did you use?

endtransmission - Beautiful. That shoulder mounted bolter is great. The colour choice is perfect and really screams inquisition. The free hand detail on the cloak is amazing, along with the weather. Strangely the bit that keeps on drawing me in is the silver skull on the warding staff. I hope to see some henchman in your thread for when you're playing larger games

Santobell - Wow that is such a change! I had to double look to see the sorcerer in there. She will make a nice HQ for your army.

Hyenajoe - Really like the shape of the axe head, the colour is cool too. I've not seen red power weapons before but it really works

tipios - The red armour looks great. Fingers crossed sorcerers will be better in the next codex. That base is amazing, really glows... it is almost a shame to cover it up

Matt.Kingsley - Wicked idea for the base. I like the monochrome look you've gone for on the model and the only colour coming from the base.

Flying Pooo - I like the robe. What colour have you shaded it with?

Panic - She looks creepy as sin...perfect for a dark eldar army. I really like the mechanical arm it looks atrophied and unwell. Her spine and vials look good painted. I was surprised how well the cronos tentacle fits her as a tail. The lilac skin tone is very nice, really like her face with the pinky red eyes.

Zefig - Wahoo proper 40k....a totally impractical weapon. I love the idea of the chain blade on top of the banner. Its nice to see an update of Uriah Jacobus...the shotgun you've made is cool.

notprop - I can see him running forward screaming oaths and loping off the heads of heretics. Cool effect on the blade. The eagle pendant at the rear is great attention to detail.

I also hope that those who didn't finish in time manage to update the thread. I especially looking forward to seeing DasFluspferd's plague bearer, Yggdrasil's inquisitor, STC_LogisEngine tech preist and Hammer's lady.

Thanks. The camera didn't pick up the red that well, the pic does not look the same as IRL. The robe is just a base coat of Red Gore shaded with a watered down 1:1 Red gore Chaos Black mix, I then washed that with Baal Red and then good old Chestnut Ink.

Also sorry to be an attention whore (I love it really!), but this was my first attempt at this sort of thing and would really like some critiques/feedback from the gathered Dakkage on improvements to be made, not just on the model but also on technique.

Please feel free to be as hasrsh as you like.

Thanks.
