Ok, that sounds good. I've never played planet strike, so I'll need to look at the rules. I should be down on Monday, but I wont get there till a little after 6.

Barely anything unforeseen or my luck being a sod again (been that kind of a year) SHOULD make it down Monday for a bit of Warmachine.

Have battlegroups for both Cygnar and Khador.

I'll bring my Menoth battlegroup along just in case, although I will be playing Warhammer Fantasy RPG so whether I'll have time for a gme is another matter.

EDIT: I wonder if we ought to try a small Warmachine/Hordes Journeyman League. Would be a damned good incentive for all of us who are getting into Warmachine/Hordes to get our armies up and running and up to 35pts. The rules can be found here. I think we would have to make some changes to the format as we can't really be sure of getting a game every week for 6 weeks (there are 6 phases to the JL) but having two weeks to play the required game(s) for each stage should be possible. Just an idea.

Sounds good to me, only thing is that i don't have the Troll battlebox figs at all, well only the Axer but no Impalers or Madrak Ironhide. I can easily make up the same points though. But its a good idea if anyone else wants to get into warmahordes and get painting it to a tabletop standard, i know there are quite a few of us who don't actually have a fully painted army at all, in any system.

Yeah equivalent points (11-14) is fine IMO.

Yeah, I'd be up for that....can loan my Khador battlegroup out to anyone who needs it.

That probably won't be needed afterall the aim is to encourage people to start playing the game with their own armies but hey if you're willing to loan it to someone while they get their own that would be cool.

Now is anyone else interested? I suspect Martin might be since he's going to be getting the Khador half of the 2 player battlebox from me soon. How about you Wesker?

One final thing if we do run this I reckon it'll have to be after new year simply so we have time to get everything organised.

They could borrow either to try 'em out, only got the Khador as a second force to run demo games with so I could apply to be a Press Ganger for PP.

New Year would be fine for me, should hopefully have a new job by then and so a bit more money on hand.

As long as it doesn't clash with the sessions I'm running and you can find the players why not.

I'd like to get into an RPG, either Warhammer Fantasy RPG or Dark Heresy if a spot becomes available.
On a side note, has anyone ever played Shadowrun?

We've got two weeks where no one is using Role play corner so I don't see why not.

Well, I really enjoyed that game of Hordes, glad to have a vague understanding of the rules!

On another note, it looks like I am being roped into playing infinity, so if some kind soul would like to teach me to play.....

I should be able to get you a bugger load of grenades, no cyclone though I'll bring my SM bits box with me tomorrow.

I should have Malifaux, Infinity and Warmachine with me tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to have another game with my WoC soon but can't really atm because my general is in pieces being painted.

I know. I'll need to get used to not having 6 mournfang on the table.

Maybe 18 ogres will slake that need.

How about you give the MSU approach a go.

BTW you made any decisions about that Ultramarines army yet?

Not really. I have about 6-7 lists to pick from. All I know is that Calgar will probably be in it.

Lots of choice there. Then again I can't comment I've got about 20 different lists hanging around for my White Minotaurs.
