The Vanguard is getting close to the finish line, at least it now shows pretty well what the end result will be. Of cause there is still a lot of detailing left - hopefully I will not spend too much time on that.

Thanks a lot mate

Got of to fine start last night with detailing of the vanguards. Photos are also good for finding area that needs to be cleaned up slightly......
Trying to get a fitting amount of details on these guys without overdoing/killing the flow - think it works pretty well so far.

Still to go:
- bronze patina
- checkers
- plasma and OSL
- cog-patterns
- gun cables
- maybe red "needles" in the gauges/manometers
- lenses
- Alpha's AdMech symbol

Thanks a lot Cleatus, here is a bit of progress. Really pleased with the way the OSL turned out.
Only cog-pattern and other minor details and a bit of weathering to go. I think I'll also change the green lenses in the backpack mount to blue - doesn't really come through the green color, I think the blue will look much more vibrant.

Thank you, yes the eye/lens went pretty well.

I only need a few bits of decor on the red, like checkers and stuff and bases, then I have actually finished painting something

I only spotted the paintwork before but conversions as well, excellent stuff, I like the idea that not all skitarii have had there legs replaced. Was looking at Victoria miniatures site the other day for combat legs, what's the cast quality like compared to someone like kromlech or maxmini???

Thanks a lot guys, much appreciated. I'll try to keep it comming on a regular basis.
As for the cast quality of vic miniatures I can on say top of the line . almost no flash or mouldlines - same high standard as the the other you mention, and only topped by Anvil Industry

Took a couple of days, but here they are. Quite happy with the way it all turned out, all but the black on the greatcoats, really need to fiure out a way to do that better.

Made a small OSL tutorial I'd thought I'd share. Hope it can be of use. Please download it, don't use the pics here - quality is way better in the download.

Ranger project carrying on. I want them different from the usual red robes and I want them sneaky and low-profile so they can hide in the battlefild.
