Oh maaaaaan not-furiosa! Just makes me so mad there is no mad max miniatures line on the way... Imagine a tabletop game in that world. I'm salivating just thinking about it. And I might need to go see the movie a third time.

Words, at least in English, cannot aptly describe how much I hate this character and the movie in general.

I might have to order a dozen just to set them on fire like kids set their green soldier men on fire back in the day.

i bet that this was the sole intent to sculpt that model...just for that purpose... proves hasslefree knows their customers...

That's an uphill battle Olgerth. Just about everybody loves that movie. The film got 98% on Rotten Tomatoes out of 260 critical reviews...for a film that is basically a 2 hour long chase scene, that's pretty insane.

I feel your pain though. I really don't like Game of Thrones. But of course Fury Road was awesome!

Kev did say that he wouldn't be selling those guns separately right? He was too pissed off at people buying his loose guns and using them on commercial models without giving him credit.

In other words the world of moderns miniatures remains deprived of decent quality loose guns for their conversions. :(

The gun in question is most likely an AKM based on the shape of the muzzle. It certainly looks a lot better than some other AK-pattern guns for minis I've seen elsewhere.

The very thought that someone could do such a thing to a Ken White sculpt makes me wince with physical pain. There are lines no wargamer should cross...

Looks like I may have to buy some hasslefree minis soon, as soon as the not-Furiosa becomes available that is.

Grrr that makes me so angry, because man I need *ALL* the AK's I can get my hands on. 1/35 scale don't cut it because even then the barrels are just too thin and prone to snapping off at the slightest touch. I need this style of gun which are better suited for tabletop gaming. I am hoping that they end up selling the guns separately, as I have a lot of modding I want to do with them.

Also, going to have to get that Furiosa. I have an idea for a war boy force swirling in my mind, but that's dependent on whether or not Wargames Factory release their biker apocalypse set any time soon.

Sworn off metal miniatures? I've grown more and more fond of them. It is generally a lot easier to clean a nicely cast resin miniature though.

Same here - metal has returned to a happy place within my heart.

I think I have PVC to thank for that!

Eh, doesn't bother me that it's uphill. Plus, the universal adulation hasn't helped it at the box office (it's only at $130M, and hasn't even made its budget back yet).

And I'll be waiting in line to see them. I'll take as many characters from that movie as Kev is willing to sculpt.

Domestic box office gross is only 130M. That's odd. I would think that it grossed more.

Still, it grossed about as much opening weekend as Fellowship.

Worldwide gross doesn't matter, though, people only care about how much a movie makes in 'Merica. And if it doesn't make its budget back on opening weekend in America alone then it's obviously a catastrophic failure.

Anyway, I like the model. Wonder if he has any plans to do other characters. Guitar guy definitely deserves one.

The movie company does, Lots of movies that "flopped" in murica did well overseas.

I would like to see some more bloodbowl females, the assortiment now is not enough for a whole team (of different figures)

I know, one of my favorites was the same way. Pacific Rim did poorly in the US but worldwide made about $400 million or so according to IMDB, with a $190 million budget. So it wasn't a huge blockbuster success like everything with a Marvel logo attached (seriously, judging from what some people say you'd think they were the only movies worth watching anymore), but it made a profit, and apparently did well enough to get a sequel in 2017. But since it only made like $100 million here everyone said it was a flop, and no one understands why they're going to waste time/money making a sequel because it was "obviously" a gakky bomb that didn't make its budget back.

Meanwhile the same people keep complaining about the seemingly endless spam of superhero movies and don't understand why studios aren't willing to take chances on stuff that's different.

Whatever, here's an update on the mini:

Finished post-apocalyptic Lass, MK1.

Once she's set she will undergo an armandheadectomy procedure and I'll give her a new pair of arms and variant head.

Cannot wait for that mini. Wonder what the variant head will be? I don't recall her ever having anything else but a shaved head.

Oh hell, yeah. Thats definitely an Escher ganger with autogun and bionics in my hands.
