I was at Hobby Lobby today looking for something and checked the scale model section only to see they now carry Vallejo model color paints. They have a really decent selection of paints, I should have counted how many colors they had but did not think about it at the time. I was at a different store yesterday and did not see this display there, so I assume they just set it up overnight or it has not made it to all the stores yet. Just a heads up if anyone was interested or in a pinch for some paint.

If I still shopped there this would be good news, I guess. As it is I think I'm just going to keep buying it from the War Store. Doesn't help that the nearest Hobby Lobby is over an hour's drive anyway.

Saw them also at my local Hobby Lobby a few days ago. Unfortunately they didn't have the black brush-on primer so I ended up ordering online at the warstore.

I noticed that as well, they did have a foundation white but I did not see any primer colors, but if you have one local and need a regular color it is another option to online.
I really want them to start stocking Evergreen Scale Model products, I would be there all the time.

I would like that too, but my wallet would never recover!

Correction. It is an arts and crafts supply store that is in all ways pertaining to our hobby way better than Michaels
We just had 1 open up a few minutes away from me (finally). So many supplies... I wanted to take my pillow and sleeping bag into the miniatures isle...

I ran into this as well two days ago. I was pleasantly surprised when I was going in for a couple airbrush parts.
I am saddened I didn't see their model air line there but hey hopefully it sells well and they will add more.

Well said. Only time I go to Michael's is to get Zap-a-gap.

I hope they get the model air line as well, I would really like to get back into airbrushing.

In terms for molding stuff most are few and far between. They sometimes have decent kits. But, its not too often you seen anything of much esteem. The ones I've been to mainly carry tamya kits. Or the random kits put out by dragon. On a side note, you can find some good stuff from time to time to make terrain with.

They used to have a very good selection of military, air craft and sci-fi model kits, but have really down sized over the past couple of years. I think thier kits are way over priced too, even with a 40% off. I check thier clearance section, every once in awhile they will have some models kits real cheap that can be used for parts.

They sell pretty good stuff for Terrain too. If you go over to the model railroad isle you can find a bunch of woodland scenic s and there is always a 40% off one item in the store coupon so getting water effects and the like can be a good deal.
Just don't forget that they are closed on Sundays

That they do. I love that 40% off, I just pull it up on my cell phone and show it to them.
Personal joke between my wife and I when we ask each other what we want to do on Sundays, "Go to Hobby Lobby and eat at Chick-f-la".
