Here are pics from a commission work earlier this year. An Ultramarine Squadron of 3 Storm Talons.

They were modeled and painted as requested.

These things can go in a squadron? They look good, I hope mine I just bought ends up half as good.

The paint Job is nice, and looks great, But it looks cartoony to me, I think it is the red.

The blue is very smooth and well done. It's the perfect shade of blue for Ultramarines.

Thank you, The models were airbrushed Ultramarine blue over a black primer to give an smooth and even coating.

The Ultramarine Blue was highlighted with Vallejo Game Color "Electric Blue". The red was highlighted with a medium orange.

Even when doing commission work, I try to add little extra details to make a model a little different. And I like to add little details for the customer to find.

I'm really digging this classic style. It's making me want to do a whole new space marine army old school style.

Your paintjob almost makes the Storm Talon palatable, and that's quite a compliment...
