Between

This scenario is designed for two players. One player takes control of the Forces of Evil, gathering artefacts, allies and powers, while the other attempts to stop them.

The Table
This game should be played on a 4'x4' table, although confident Evil or those wishing for a longer, more difficult game can expand the board.

The Terrain
Terrain should be fairly dense, but must include 5-6 buildings, shrines or barrows, set roughly equidistant from each other and not within 8" of the board edge.

The Forces[b]
Evil has 600 points to spend on Lords and Heroes. The scenario was designed with Heinrich Kemmler and Krell in mind, and may prove difficult for an Evil player who does not bring some form of Summoning spell with them.

The other side has 500 points to spend, ignoring the usual army selection percentages. Every turn after the first, they may bring another 500 points worth of models onto the table from their board edge. It's recommended that they have each 500 point chunk worked out ahead of time, however.

[b]Set-up

Evil selects a board edge, and places their characters down in its midpoint. The Opposition may then deploy anywhere in the opposite half of the board. Evil has the first turn.

The Objectives
Evil's mission is to visit each of the buildings, shrines and barrows in turn seeking allies and power. If Evil's characters end their movement phase in base contact with the door or altar, one of their characters may forgo the rest of their turn to claim it. Evil wins if they claim four or more objectives, even if there was nothing in them, as long as they have at least one character remaining at the end of the game.

When an objective is Claimed, roll a d6 and consult the appropriate table:
Building

Shrine

Barrow

Game Length
The game lasts for a minimum of 5 turns. At the end of turn 5, roll a die. On a 2+, the game continues. At the end of turn 6, the die is required to be a 3+, and so forth. At the end of turn 10, the game ends automatically.

______________________________________________________________

So, I'm not 100% certain on the Win Conditions, but here's the bare bones. It should be challenging for the Forces of Evil, but not unwinnable.

Do you need to claim, or control objectives?
On a 4x4 table, with objectives 8" from table edges, it's a shooting match.

For example.
Turn 1, mounted wight king marches 16" on ethereal steed.
2 wraith characters march 12".
Kemmler uses his cloak and flies 20".

Opponent gets 1 turn to deal with it.
Then Kemmler goes ethereal and wraiths and wight king take 4 objectives.

I like the idea, but I think it would pan out to be a very short game.

I would require GOOD to control 5 or more of the 8 to drive evil out for the win. Good controlling 4 is a draw. An other result is a win for evil, unless evil is completely wiped from the table.

Good gets 500 points of anything to start.
Each turn, good gets 400 points of Core/Special, or 200 points of characters From their own table edge; OR, 200 points of CORE infantry or 100 points of characters from the side edges.

All good Infantry killed can be recycled as new Undead. Each kill becomes 1 zombie, or 3 kills can become 1 ghoul. You must hold until you have a legal sized unit, who then enters from Evils table edge.

No warmachines or monsters may be taken. No units with flying may be taken. Such exotic choices to not show up at an impromptu skirmish.
