This looks gorgeous! With the right colours it would easily fit Dark Eldar too.

I like the pipes... too bad cardboard tubes are so fragile.

I think the Elda... err... Elven terrain is well designed, but the finish on the demo pieces is horrifyingly lacking.

I dunno guys. Those pipes don’t look very Eldar-y to me...

How elaborate is that tower though? Yikes!

That stuff looks great. I have their not-drop pods, and they went together very well.

Plastic tubing would be more durable, but being sized for toilet rolls just gives people a cheaper option.

The Tesla Towers and pipes aren't part of the Elf range. They have also been out a little longer, IIRC.

I understood it... but plastic tubing's expensive enough that it makes the kit less attractive to me.
Using cardboard tubes makes them better price-wise, but the cardboard isn't sturdy. Hence my comment.

The Elven Dais looks like a good piece to use as a Skyshield Landing Pad for Eldar/Dark Eldar armies.

Actually, it looks pretty good to me!

Though the price point seems a bit high since it doesn't include the admittedly not that expensive piping...

yeah,
The details are all a bit too square, the valves and mini pipes and ladders.

Considering I'd be buying 40mm pipe from the DIY store I could probably pick up a bunch of random thingy and make better details.
Round mini pipes and 0 rings for valves etc... at which point I'm paying AU$40 for some flat platforms I can make myself from foam core...

plus it's quite short as a set, coming to a end near it's start point...
I figure I'll need three sets to make and interesting layout at which point I'm paying AU$120 for some industrial terrain I need to detail up myself.
I think the price is too high...

I'm a little torn..
I still kinda want them the idea is great... I'm just saying the photos Kroothawk pulled from the website are all tech and shiney

And while I congratulate them for using loo roll in their painted examples..
I hate bait and switch!
The web photos don't show the blockiness reality of the blog photos.
Spoiler:

But yeah I like them...

Panic...

I think the stuff is great...actually, I think all their stuff is great!

I like the "blocky" nature of the pipe pieces.

However...I do find that some of them are a bit more expensive than I would pay - but my perspective could be skewed as I make terrain. For someone who is not happy to make their own stuff, it might be a great value for them.

Always happy to see new product ....

Those tesla coils might be a wonderful starting point for a Chaos Doomsday device, depending on their size.

8000 points of XI Legion the Space Vagabonds, they can adapt their tactics to represent any and every Legion and Chapter as needed because they were created by the Emperor to be the ultimate tactical power. They have faked their disappearance in order to infiltrate every part of the conflicts in the galaxy.

8000 points of Tau/Craftworld Eldar/Necron because the Space Vagabonds can also emulate their wargear and tactics.

Victories: ALL
Losses: NONE (My armies have the psychic ability to conjure a cataclysmic storm whenever they are about to lose. This allows the Space Vagabonds to teleport away while releasing power waves that destroys the battlefield and so every battle is a victory)

I like the look of the pipes, but $40 is a bit high considering what you get.

I will say though that I do love the Eldar-ish terrain.

It's weird really; their infinity buildings seem to be rather competitively priced ($30-36 as quoted in that topic is great) but this is mostly "meh, a wee bit expensive" stuff right up until we hit the pipe system - that's just really pricey.
