I was working on box art for the soon to be released Leviathan Mortis and thought I would render out this amusing if not slightly disturbing scene

The Mortis braces itself on a nearby building while using its scythe arm to provide further stability and commences to administer a good old fashioned curb stomp. Repeatedly smashing the light mech into the broken pavement. The commander of the light mech must have really pissed off the pilot of the Mortis to provoke such a brutal response.

Ditto!!

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Damn that looks cool! I am regretting not adding any leviathans to my pledge now!

Are you going to be adding a bit more details onto the little walker? The colouring looks a little flat atm. Apart from that I say you have a pretty fine bit of box art there.

y'know I read the description before looking and 100% expected the light mech would be a familiar looking 'Angry Washing Machine' design from a game set in the 401st Century.

What faction is the mech from? Is it from the "russians" that I keep hearing about?

Love the Ren and Stimpy.
Although my login does not show it, I have been bumping around Dakka for many years... before they changed the site. I fell in love with R&S and Nosegoblin stuck with me ever since.

Not every day you see the head of a small company post a pic like that.

Can I use it as blackmail for more stormtroopers?

I could be wrong (wouldn't be the first time), but I believe that's the Puma Light Walker. Mark previewed it on the DFG forums many moons ago and I recall it having an Iron Cross on it. The image I can find that looks like it also has one, most likely making it an Eisenkern vehicle. Now, those renders were a while ago (prior to the first KS if memory serves) so it could easily be switching sides, but that's what it was at least.

EDIT: Also, the few shots of the Russian heads that Mark posted there (they appear to be down atm) were very nice. Fur caps, gas masks and the star just like the image on their fluff page.

Have not met a Ren and Stimpy (or John K in general) fan that wasn't an interesting individual ; p It only bodes well that Nose Goblin is a fan of Lint Loaf and Powdered Toast(TM), not to mention Log.

Brilliant. The art, the kit, the puma (probably), the buildings. I just wish you'd stop showing them. It's making me more impatient for my stuff!

And just think, the cargo ship carrying your stuff had to pass by your country on the way to mine.
I can't wait to see what else Mark has been working on. He's got to be close to finalizing the other sculpts to get them into production to meet the deadlines for the next two stages.
My question is, will he finish off the Eisenkern faction before moving on? (he did mention that there is still a light walker and a medium tank, IIRC) I would love to have a tank to complete the army.

Sounds like we have a new, great slogan for Dream Forge Games:

I like Dreamforge Games and hope that they start producing new designs soon and perhaps even move to making their own games. They seem like one of the few companies that is poised to really move into the multi-part plastic market and start competing directly with GW, which will only be good for hobbyists everywhere.
