In the name of Russ and the Allfather, I have returned!

I finished my project to finish a Space Wolves army with The Army Painter, and I'm looking to expand it. How do I paint black, red/ginger, blonde and grey hair? If anyone can give me an easy way to do this, with Warpaints or maybe GW paints, then I would be very grateful.

For Russ!!

Exact colurs should be chosen by trying it out on a scrap head ..to lessen the amount of repainting ..(each person has their own exact shades they like)

I try the colours out on ork trophies before painting Catachan Heads to find the mix I want ..if its off a bit on an ork tropy no one notices much ..

Thanks for the info, but does anyone know a technique that uses only one colour?

Can't really do it well with only one colour, you'll always get the best results with at least two, if not three colours thrown in there. It'll still not take very long, the longest part is waiting for the wash to dry.

For Space Wolves using Army Painter methods, try:

Prime model Wolf Grey.
Red Hair - Lava Orange
Blonde - Demonic Yellow
Black - Uniform Grey
Other bits as you see fit

Then chuck your favourite Quickshade or Quickshade Ink over the lot.
