Ok, I felt like I needed some levity. This a thread for self-made magic and mundane items that are somewhat silly. Have fun, be funny, and enjoy each other's creations.

Ba'owner, Bane of the Unwary!: Magic Weapon 50 pts

This rather rudely shaped hammer was originally made for a Slayer who had shockingly inapropriate humor, and one that loved hiding on the battlefield waiting for the perfect moment to leap forth yelling "Surprise!, now bend over!"

The bearer gains +2 strength and the Ambushers special rule, If the bearer successfully completes a rear or flank charge he gains D6 attacks in the next round of combat he fights in.

Codpiece of Extreme Masculinity: Magic Armor 20 pts

This stunning piece of work was crafted for an empire noble who had an intense fear of groin injuries, ultimatly it wasn't getting whacked in the family jewels that did him in, it was a particularly lucky Doomdiver.

The wearer gains +2 to his armor save and a 6+ ward save that is increased to 4+ against wounds inflicted by Stomps(or rather kicks)

Codpiece: mundane armor, avaliable to any Core unit for 2 pts per model

A common sort of codpiece, worn by the common soldier.

The wearer gains +1 to his armor save, in addition he gains a 6+ ward save against wounds caused by Stomps(or rather kicks)

Foppish Hat: Enchanted Item 10 pts

While the wearer of this truly amazing hat does tend to spend too much time contemplating his appearence, the conflated sense of self-importance can't help but be inspiring to himself and his followers.

The wearer gains +1 Leadership and the stupidity special rule.

Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

I like the hero codpiece. But the unit ones are too good (depending on army). And codpieces were really just fashion. Kicking someone in the nards is more a weak person's (or anyone's) attempt at going for a key vulnerability. But it's almost exactly the opposite of a Stomp, which is a big person smashing a small person just about anywhere. If an ogre kicked you in the jewels, it'd be KB.

I think there's room to get silly with rules and have fun.

Boo-mask: 25pts
One use. This scary mask can be used once to refuse a challenge. If challenged, the wearer may activate it and the enemy champion must go to the back of his unit just as if he refused a challenge issued to him and suffers all the normal penalties from fleeing a challenge. The wearer does not move and its unit may still use its leadership.

A Rock: 25pts
One use. This is a non-magical rock imported from Hollywood. It may be thrown against an enemy target unit within 6" which is not engaged in CC. That unit may be immediately moved per the Remaining Moves rules under the direction of the rock thrower. "I heard something over there."

A Really Big Fan: 75pts
All sides receive one less die for the winds of magic, to a minimum of one.

Halfling Chef:
Infantry only. One unit only. Only for models costing between 3-9 points. This helpful master chef cooks up the greatest gastronomical delights possible. The results are gigantic soldiers. Movement characteristic is -1 to a minimum of 1. 3pts per model. Each model gains Stomp special ability.

I'd go with anyone's. All of my martial arts instructors shared the wisdom of a well-timed groin-kick.

This stuff is great, guys. I'm diggin' the Really Big Fan and the Hero's Codpiece. The regular codpieces might be a little too good, but I like the idea of Stomp=Kick. Not true, of course, but clever.

Indeed, its all about cleverly putting something funny into the rules.

The Fan should be a building that can't be entered that you place on the battlefield.

Stop Sign: 30 pts

When charged by the enemy, the Hero may hold up this sign. Potentially confusing the enemy and disrupting the charge. Units attempting to charge a model(or the model's unit) with the Stop Sign must reroll the charge dice if the charge was successful. Note this trick only ever works once on the same unit, if a unit has already been forced to reroll the charge distance in the same game they may ignore the Stop Sign for the rest of the game.

I think the stop sign has to be one use. Silly stuff should probably be pretty limited, partially because not everyone likes silly. But also because they are hard to balance. Stopping a charge for a turn can be pretty dire. Lots of games have been won or lost on making a successful long distance charge.

If it was any other roll, like a LD test, forcing each unit per game to reroll once would be extremely powerful. One unit rerolling once isn't a big deal. And for 20-30 pts is probably about fair.

If it were one-use only, I think it should be more drastic than a re-roll on the distance. Attribute tests only have the target number(s) and the roll of the die. Charges have the distance needed, the dice, and a flat bonus from Movement. 2d6+4 relies less on what the dice roll than a flat 2d6.
Maybe it reduces the distance by 1d6, like the Rune of Slowness? Or you need to pass a Ld test?

And if your opponent doesn't like silly things, you shouldn't be using such things against them. And they should never face off against Night Goblins.

Needle of Incalcuble Power: 3d6.5 points

Once per game you may reveal that a model is carrying the Needle of Incalcuble Power. You must then respond to the question "What does that do?" with the question "What do you THINK it does?". The model equipped with the Needle then gains the stated effect for the rest of the battle.

Homies: 25 points. 1 use only. Opponent loses D6 attacks in a challenge as your homies leap from your unit and dog pile on him (reduced to a minimum of 1 attack). All wounds you inflict count for your opponents combat res, as you hack into your homies as your strike your opponent.

Talisman of a Previous Age: 80 points. Enemies fleeing your this model fail the dangerous terrain test on a 2+. Models flanked by this model lose steadfast.

I don't think homies needs to have the 2nd part, it's fine. And pretty good.

PCP: 25pts
Pretty Crazy Powder. Mushrooms are for sissies. Model gets a 3+ ward save for one turn. At the start of the next turn the model takes a Str 6 hit.

Slann costume: 30pts
Silence of the Lambs-style skin of a dead Slann made into a full body suit. The magical energies of the skin allow any wizard wearing it to be a Loremaster in any lore they could normally take. But the strange voices and otherwordly spirit that surrounds the suit makes any roll that would normally be Irresistable Force only causes a Miscast and the spell immediately fails.
