I am a sucker for Warcraft II and III. Not so much WoW but that's a discussion for another day. I am working on converting two IoB Griffons to have dwarfs on them (particularly slayers to keep the theme of my newish army). I am looking for some CC on my proposed idea and any ideas how to balance out my proposed unit more. Thanks in advance

A little fluff for those interested:
Stormslayers are a particular odd sub cult of the Slayer Cult. Sworn to seek death against the most horrendous monster one can find the founders of the Storm Slayers found a way to make the death seeking journey more deadly. By capturing and raising a griffon they take to the skies in search of foul things with wings and clash with them in deadly air battles above the clash of armies or within the peeks of the mountains. They wield specially forged hammers imbued with the power of lightning, but it is a task required of each slayer to join their ranks to take an ordinary hammer and seek out and kill a dragon ogre, proving that they can slay servants of the storm and be worthy to wield these magic hammers. Granted those who seek out a dragon ogre and then perish in the attempt fulfill their slayer obligation. Stormslayers are rare and it takes a particularly debased slayer to want to seek out death in the skies. Those that do wreak havoc upon armies and monsters until they find the one thing they could not best with their hammer and mount.
Special Rules:
Fly, Frenzy, Terror, Unbreakable, Storm Hammer, To the Skies!, Slayer
Storm Hammer: The magic hammers wielded by the stormslayer are imbued with the power of thunder and lightning. Counts as a hand weapon, but in the shooting phase can be thrown with the rules for master rune of flight. If a suscessful hit is scored then treat it as a resolving a shot from a bolt thrower starting at strength 5.
To the Skies!: Such is the wild abandon and reckless movement of dwarf and beast during flight they gain a 5+ ward save from shooting attacks following a turn that the griffon used fly the previous turn.
Again any CC is welcome, and suggestions on point costs would be great, this is going to be used for in house games and a whacky campaign we are in the middle of working out. That being said I'd like to keep the flavor of the unit, but don't wanna be cheese either
Thanks.
