No official rules, though there might be some fan made rules floating around.

Also, they're not Titans, so maybe taking that out of your search will turn up some better results.

Tyranids - 3000pts
Vampire Counts - 3500pts
Haqqislam - 800pts
Tohaa - 500pts
Neverborn - 150ss

The 40k rulebook does not disallow Forgeworld units or models. They are legal Games Workshop products for standard play. Accept it.

The only official Knight rules were for Epic, and even they didn't survive to the later editions without fan development.

I'm sure you can find fan-made rules to use them in Apoc around the Internet, or failing that they won't be that hard to write up yourself. They're super-heavy walkers around half the size of a Warhound, so the stats would be simple to approximate:

Knight Paladin

2 Structure Points

FA/SA/RA
13/12/11

Battlecannon, titan close combat weapon and 2-3 body-mounted heavy bolters.
They also had special a 'deflector shield' in Epic, which could be reflected by giving them an invulnerable save to shooting attacks against the front armour facing only.

I've managed to find the Lord of Battle PDF from Bell of Lost Souls.

It is pretty out of date as a lot of the units in there have actual apoc rules now but it's a place to start.

Well, first off, Knights are a class of Titan, so yes there are Knight Titans. Current in the game the GK DreadKnight is a specialized version of the Knight-class Titan. If you want to use an actual, honest to God real set of 6th ed rules for one, go with the GK DreadKnight.

The Guardian Titan (linked below) is an example of 40k scaled version of the olf Epic 40k Knight rules:

https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0Bxo4RrAOT2znZU8xUEpPUGs2NGs/edit?usp=drive_web&pli=1#docId=0Bxo4RrAOT2znUFFSR3ZjSlU1WFU

And if push comes to shove, a Defiler works great for modeling rules to a Knight-class Titan.

Knights have nothing to do with Titans. The only similarity is 'large bipedal manned robot'. Which would squarely place the Dreadknight and Riptide as types of Titans.

Imperial Titans are the engines made by the Collegia Titanica. Knights are made and operated by Knight houses on Knight worlds. They've never actually been referred to as Knight Titans officially, because they're not Titans.

If you can find a source reference of them being called Knight Titans, I'll happily accept that they are Titans. I've never seen it.

Good stand-in Knight from DreamForge Games, the Levithan is about an inch smaller and a lot less bulky than the Warhound. With minimal customization I see it fitting into 40k easily.
As for rules heres the ones I picked up late fifth:

Which are thankfully not in any way produced or endorsed by GW, since they're ridiculously overpowered.

Everything GW publishes for standard 40k, including codices, supplements, Forge World, and White Dwarf, is part of the game. You can choose not to play with or against any of them, but don't pretend that your choice is anything but a house rule.

That's a nice opinion, however, you might want to actually read the source material from the Knight's first release, which was the game "Titan Legion" (expansion for the original Epic scale 40k game "Space Marine). Knights were originally introduced as Knight-class Titans, the smallest of the Imperial Titan classes.

Nowhere on that page does it refer to them as Titans.

In fact:
"...The Knight army may comprise Knights, Tech-Guard and Titans." quite clearly suggests that they are two separate things.

And from page 13:
"...These machines were one-man versions of a Titan, much smaller and less powerful than a real Titan..."
So they're more like a smaller copy of a Titan, rather than a Titan themselves. They're a Claytons Titan - the Titan you have when you don't have a Titan.

OK, I dont care so much about this but here is how one source treats knights vs titans.

Titan Legions:Codex Titanicus

Knights and Titans are treated separately in the organization of the book and in the text. For example, "Knights fight alongside Titans" The forces of mars are subdivided into Titans, Knights and Techguard.

page 13

"These machines were one man versions of a Titan, much smaller and less powerful than a real Titan."

". . . and form a reserve of troops which can be called up into the Titan Legions when required."

So from the background in this book, which of course may be contradicted elsewhere, the reasonable interpretation appears to me that Knights are not Titans. They differ by being much smaller, less powerful and by having only a single crew member.

Also if you compare the size of the knight models from the titan legions game to the size of a marine, the GK dreadknight is nowhere near as large as a Knight

Island of Nunya, Nunya business!

Here's the statline I made up for my own homebrew mechanicus codex.

Knight: 200 pts

WS....BS.....F.....S.....R …..I
.4.......4.....13...12....10 ….4

unit size: 1

unit type: walker, 4 Hull Points

Wargear: see options

Options:

Must take one of the following weapons packages.
Errent pattern, DCCW with built in Multi-laser, DCCW with built in Auto-cannon (free)
Lancer pattern, DCCW with built in Lascannon, Lance(raqnge 60"str8Ap1, lance,heavy1) (50 pts)
Paladin pattern, DCCW with built in Hurricane Bolter, TL-Battle cannon (50 pts)

Any pattern may may be given the POTMS upgrade for 15 pts
Any pattern may reinforce its armor plating, raising its armor values by 1 on all facings for 25 pts
Any pattern may take enhanced motility limbs for 15 pts. This gives it the Fleet special rule. may not be taken with reinforced armor plating

Special rules:

Kin of Titans: knights are the smallest class of titans that exist. Although significantly smaller that their massive brethren, the pilots of these vehicles still consider themselves to be titans, walking contemptuously in and out of combats as they please. Knights have the hit and run special rule.

Force fields: Knights are outfitted with powerful force fields from the Dark Age of Technology. knights have a 5+ invuln save

Reactor overload: knights have powerful plasma drives that can cause devastating damage when penetrated. if a Knight suffers a explodes result on the damage table, roll a D6 on the following chart to determine the result of the damage.

1: the Knights containment fields hold. the Knight is wrecked instead

2-4: the knights ammo supplies are ignited. all models within D6 inches suffer a Str 4, Ap 6 hit. the knight is wrecked

5-6: Plasma overload. the plasma containment fields fail and the drive detonates. all models within D6+6 inches suffer a Str7 AP3 Hit. remove the Knight from the board.

Miniature size really means nothing. The Ork tanks in that game were regular tanks, and the models, relative to the infantry models in that game, were bigger than a 40k Battlewagon, while Epic Battlewagons would have been almost Stompa sized in 40k.

Look at the Tyranid Heirodule. In Epic it was slightly smaller than a Heirophant, but the 40k model is barely bigger than a Tyrannofex and less than half the size of a Heirophant.

Indeed, that game was way out of scale. Even more than the regular 40k models are.

Vehicles are roughly only 75% of the actual size relative to the infantry models.

Saying that miniature size means nothing is going too far. There was also artwork to use as a comparison. Certainly no game put out by GW has been a scale model game but knights are still huge compared to the dreadknight. Indeed the Ork battlewagons in 40k are way too small compared to how they were presented in epic.

No, really, even artwork goes far enough to be meaningless. Like, Reavers are not this big, and were not this big even in Epic.

Warlords are not this big, and were not this big in Epic.

Using model scale or artwork scale is just going to end in tears, because GW never has a scale in mind for either. If it looks cool, that's good enough.

Well the Titanicus cover art is a little tough to tell the scale. there isn't much to tell besides the fighters swooping around the Titan and that would actually put them at a moderately realistic size.

There's those tiny little muzzle flashes pointsing up at it. They're either tanks firing at full elevation while close to it (making them far too big) or infantry doing the same (making them far too small).

Whatever is made right now. Since it needs to be smaller than a Warhound (which we have a 40k model for), the Dreadknight isn't too bad for a rough size. For something similarly sized and not dumb looking, the Dreamforge Leviathan is about right. It is slightly bigger than a Dreadknight and would fit quite fine on an oval base.

I own both a forgeworld warhound as well as a leviathan crusader. The crusader is within an inch of the height of the warhound. Not's almost the same height, it simply lacks some of the bulk
