"in a past life now long forgotten Goretek was the greatest hunter the Dranar Tribe had ever known. his skill with the bow was legendary and he always returned from a hunt bearing as much meat as he could carry. then that fateful day when the women and children of the village were slaughtered by a rival tribe changed him forever. on that day he drank the Gorksblood potion and became an Orc, and with the loss of his family a much darker side of him emerged. Now he hunts not for meat, but for blood, and only the blood of the greatest champions of the world will satisfy him."

125pts is pretty cheap for him. He's a Sniper that ignores armor.

2 big things:
-The animosity rule is weird. You could have units propel him forward due to Animosity. "directly way from" is confusing and pretty much encompasses any movement. You could say maybe he leaves the unit from any side 1" away and can't move the rest of the turn.

-Not being targettable at all is really good. It gets confusing with template weapons. Do you want them to be stopped, cuz they really aren't targetting him, they are targetting an area. Maybe something like Lore of Heavens or BS only attacks.

in answer to your questions:
1) I like that idea, maybe add that he can't attack for the rest of the turn either (he's too busy berating them)
2) templates effect him, templates are supposed to kill him dead. this guy is built to kill characters, but the chaff will drag him down. so the things I want to counter him are: templates, close range shooting, melee, ward saves, mass of infantry (he's really supposed to operate alone) basically I want it to be if you can get into melee with him he's dead, just like the WoW character he's based on.

Templates can't kill a char dead unless he's a monster. He always gets a LoS if he's in a unit of the same type (infantry) or within 6". I don't think he has to stop attacking, just don't make him ping pong around because of animosity.

And I think amateurs should be called like shhh instead. They're just making too much noise with animosity so he walks away.

If he's designed to kill chars his LD is too high. He is as high as a black orc big boss. He should be like 6/7.

I don't mean literally kill him dead, but they can target him and he can't do much about them.when I say chaff will drag him down I mean if he's on his own a unit charging him will probably win just by mass of attacks and the law of large numbers. I kind of agree with the not stop attacking, but he probably shouldn't be moving (he's laying low and waiting for the heat to die down so he can go on the hunt)
and as far as why I called it "amateurs" the guy is an arrogant prick, and a perfectionist to boot. if they don't live up to his standards he just walks away.
I'm not so good with making up stats so how about his Ld is 6 (because of his pragmatism, he will run away if the fight doesn't go his way)

His Ld is also as high as an orc big boss. Who is also T5 W2.
Ld8 is fine, that's what hero level orcs get.

I'd actually have him not be able to join units. Orcs are just too loud. After all, we know how orcs go hunting. They walk into the goblin camp and take whatever the sneaky gits snuck up on. It's why most orcs hunt with choppas instead of bows.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Last thought,
Give him scout and skirmisher.
Scout helps to make up for him not being able to join units.
Skirmish makes him harder to hit, and lets him march and fire.

LD7 is what Orc SCs get. He's not a straight hero.

All the orc SC are lords and are Ld10 or Ld9.
All the hero level SC are goblins.

He should be 8, or you should come up with an Ld7 reference.

If he's an orc or penguin doesn't really matter, I thought that other SC was an orc, I hadn't really looked at him. He's said he's an orc, and that's fine. But it's just fluff. A big boss is only 55 pts, so there's a lot of leeway there. Though BS5 sniper is also pretty nice. I just looked at empire witch hunters, but they are pretty darn different. KB snipe against one guy, and people still don't really like them.

And all those guys are Ld8 as well.
Witch hunter is awesome. Guy is a beast with speculum.
Witch hunters draw back is he can't buy a horse.
