I will be launching a Kickstarter aimed at creating an extensive range of Demons and Devils based on Old School Roleplaying games. Below are some examples of work in progress pictures of the current Demons I will be offering during the campaign. I am looking at creating a very flexible system of pledge levels to allow you to mix and match exactly what you want instead of locking people into getting miniatures you don't want. All miniatures will be metal.

Please please please don't have the paladins holding their shields thusly. It is so wrong, it hurts me.

Yep. Lovely mini, but that completely ruins it for me.

Yeah, the shield arm doesn't work for me either, but the demons themselves are gorgeous. Though I never wanted to see an anatomically correct nalfeshnee.

The supply does not get to make the demands.

Wow these look great! Makes me think of those old stop-gap animations (Jason and the Argonauts and the like).

Glad you guys like them. It has been a long 8 months getting everything lined up for this Kickstarter and we are almost there.

It certainly isn't for everyone! Essentially this miniature is my homage to one of my favorite pieces of art from when I was a kid. It is an add if anyone doesn't want it they aren't going to be forced to buy it. The entire kickstarter is like that. There will be pledge levels for single miniatures. Nothing I dislike more than a Kickstarter that forces you to pledge at a high level and you end up with some miniatures you don't want.

Gonna be honest, I get that this is an homage to that piece of art, but it would look a hundred times better with the shield in a correct position. As it is now, it looks like a moron who doesn't know how to hold a shield properly. Which kind of sucks because such a small detail ruins the entire, otherwise fantastic, dynamic of the model.

Maybe make the shield a separate piece, for those who wish to glue it either way?

That's an easy solution, not sure why I didn't think of that when reading this before! Win-win

As an old school AD&D player, I LOVE the 'homage' shield version - and I'll be in for all of these figures at launch.

Well done!

Both the shield and the head are separate. Glad Paul did that now

Sweet. After years of yowling from my wife and her brother, I caved started a 2nd edition D&D campaign (THAC0 Thursdays). These will be a welcome addition to my pile of Reaper Bones and Dwarven Forge. Looking forward to it. I particularly like the Greco-Roman influence on the demons. A very welcome change of pace from skulls, skullz, MOAR SKULLZ and pentagrams.
