I was reading the rules for bastion and assaulting a building and unoccupied buildings.

How I am understanding it is, if you have guys just on top the bastion they are considered in a building themselves and not being embarked in the bastion? As well that would mean the bastion could not be assaulted or shot at? Is that correct.

Another question regarding multiple assaults if I say have a unit of blood letters and a bloodthirster on combat with a terminator squad and the terms deal 10 wounds to my blood letters do they carry over to the bloodthirster or does it stop at the unit.

Regards,
Ubba

That is correct, though an opponent can enter the bastion then assault the dudes on top of it.

Is the Bloodthirster an IC that is joined to the blood letters?

If so then wounds can be applied to the BloodThirster. If the BT is not an IC then you would have to choose which unit to attack, following restrictions as normal.

As per the current rulebook faq, the battlements are no longer considered a building, despite the rules for battlements saying otherwise.

Models on the battlements are probably supposed to be considered to be occupying the bastion, but the rules are now such a mess thanks to the faq that nobody is entirely sure.

Wow you really have to ask? Of course it's not.

So to make sure wounds don't overflow to other units in a multiple combat if the one gets wiped out. Couldn't find wounds for multiple combat in the rule book.

Yes, you have to declare which models are attacking which enemy unit. There are no rules that would allow wounds directed at one unit to carry over to a different unit.

I did have to ask, as I do not have that Codex, and I do not know anyone that plays with a Bloodthirster. For all I know it could have a rule similar to the Hive Tyrant and perform as an IC whilst with its guard models.
