I recently played a game against an opponent who used a primary detachement of BA and IG allies. They had a squad of heavy bolter devestators, some tactical a squads and a sanguinary priest supported by deepstriking Sanguinary guard, death company and assault squads as well as lots of IG and a chimera. The most annoying part was the squad with 10 death company with jump packs, 2 power swords, 2 hand flamers, a reclusiarch and a sanguinary priest who deepstriked and destroyed my nobz in a single round of combat. Can anyone suggest a way to counter these powerful assault units? I need to make a 1500pt list that is competent against hordes but can still deal with elites. I had great success with looted wagons with boom guns, the str8 ap3 blast really gets to marines Any suggestions on how to start my list?
