Hey Guys,
Ive been painting for a good few years now and have decided it finally time to show off my projects! These will eventually range from desired whim to desired whim. But for starters I’m going to be posting my latest project, the feared ork clan ‘Da Dark Reapaz’.
I’ve already completed a few units which i will show off, but there a work in progress’s to follow. Fear the green tide!
i wanted the orks skin to be darker as they progress in rank, the nob squad which i will upload later will be darker then the squad nob, and the boss will be almost black, not to shure about the squad nobs skin may need ammending

Thanks SelvaggioSaky,
Another mob, small one, eventually I’m going to be painting up a warboss in mega armour to go with this unit, love these models, good price too.
The nobz skin is much darker then the unit nobz, i want it the skin darkening as they become harder to be visible like it should be.
Sorry about the last 3 pictures, deciding if i want them auto corrected or not, i think in future ill have them corrected

Hey guys, another update.
Not an ork update, But a Imperial guard one! Yes, i do so love the imperial guard. Over the last few days ive pinched a few leman russes from my bits box, (i had abut 5 unmade ). I decided to get them painted up, and try out a few techniques.
I went for typical caidan Colour scheme. And here i have the finished unit, the Cadian 144th Armoured Regiment, each tanks has its own number, and squad symbol on the rear of the turret, Had a lot of fun playing around with the transfers. Bit of weathering here and there, I’m pleased with the results.
These guys are not in my own regiments colours, so ive thrown them on eBay, please check them out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281120208126?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1558.l2649, if you contact me directly by mchl_cyn@yahoo.co.uk i will be able to sell them directly at a discounted price.
Comments and criticism appreciated
Note, the tracks appear much brighter than they do in real life, due to lighting. (they are not quite that orange)

Hey guys, another update. Back to the Dark Reapaz! More Red and Dark bue in the form of StormBoyz.
This unit is eventually going to be accompanied by non other then boss Zagstruk himself. I may put this unit up to 15 when i get around to it. Really fun kits with loads of ork extras.
As always comments and criticisms appreciated.

Hey Guys, Cheers for the kind words.
A small update, another mob of boyz. This time with shootas.
The majority of base coats have been done here and they should be finished soon. The biggest job is the first layer on the skin, as it takes a few coats to get it on smooth (warboss is a week colour). Next job is to highlight them and then do little details like teeth etc. Should be done soon and then my ork force will begin to resemble a proper force. Both my chopa mob and shoota mob will be 17 guys large so they can foot slog or i can cut the unit down and throw them in a truck. The shootas will have accompanying big Mek with force field. Think i will need a battle wagon so i can fit the full unit in.
You can also see anoth mob of 12 black reach boyz which im currently building. They can flesh out the other mob or be truck borne unit.
In the background you can see a metal cadain auto gun team. Found them in my bitz box and I’m itching to mount them on a HW team base and re-paint them. I would love to do a platoon sized force of the old metal cadians.

Hey guys, only a quick update.
The shoota mob is finished. Going to try and get an army shot early next week. I think next i will start on the charcters so i will have a legal force, then maybe a small game or two?
Finished Slugga Boy Mob,
A few of the boyz
The Units Nob, and a rokkit launcher boy, a nig shoota would probably be more effective bt i do like the look of this guy.

Hey guys, Managed to get some good work done on the HQ’s. An Ork big mek with custom force field, for all those orky cover save needs. An incredibly fun model to paint.
In the mob!
Also a Wip of the ork warboss in mega armour. This guy was surprisingly fun to paint to, being an old model. Good job GW. Looking forward to this guy cracking space marine heads and booting dreadnaughts with his nobz...

Great work Was that a set of old 2nd Edition plastic Stormtroopers I seen in the background of one of those pics?
Just a question about the Warboss, but have you considered adding dags or glyphs in yellow (or a checkered pattern) to break up some of the large red areas?

Hey Guys,
Cheers Dreadclaw69, those are the old storm troopers. Im still get surprised by what comes out my bits box. Dont relly see a use for them so im going to get rid of the poor devils. Good idea on the war boss, checks are not a bad idea. May very well add more to him throughout the project.
In other news i’ve managed to get hold of some old cadians of eBay. So my platoon idea is going to happen!
More reinforcements for my Dark reapaz! I did not know this little fellow can be a troops choice if you have a big mek (which i do!). The deff dread! Originally i wanted a squad of killa kans to escort him around, well to follow him at least.
Ive managed to pull my dear old Zagstuck from his grave in the bitz box. I had two finecast ones (the strompack on one was warped beyond repair, so i got a second for free). A friend said i need around 15 strom boyz to make use of this chap, is my current 11 and Zagstruck to small? (11, the nob can proxy down to a boy, suck it up nob, you’re in better company).
I will see about an army shot of the gang so far, over the weekend or early next week. They are looking rather numerous on my desk.
Comments and criticism appreciated. Please visits my gallery if you want to zoom in on the Deff Dread, the top down one looks good zoomed in.
P.s. the storm troopers are up on eBay ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Warhammer-OOP-Imperial-Guard-Storm-troopers-Berets-/281117290970?pt=UK_Toys_Wargames_RL&hash=item4173e571da), please Message me if you are interested. As it’s a buy me now option i can always lose the models and take down the post .... and sell them cheaper without the need to pay ebay tribute .

Happy to help Checks should help break up the red a wee bit
Maybe you could paint up the Stormtroopers similar to the Cadians and say that they're a local PDF force

Roullier10, “Don’t tempt me frodo!”
DreadClaw , Not a bad idea but they are a bit dated to be honest, and would go straight back into my bits box until i paint my way through my huge guard collection. There will be someone out there who wants them more then me.

Hey Guys, another update.
Smallish update, but a green one none the less. A new unit of boyz for the army, could be a truck mob or i can throw them into the other mob for those situations where less then 29 boyz would be a tad too subtle....
These guys are the old 40k starter set Orks, was it black reach? Really nice guys, bit monopose-ish but you wont notice if they are mixed with generic boys and i love that. No big shoota. Might have to mooch around in a bitz box for one, I’m sure theres another unmade mob in there somewhere. But i think for the size of the army im aiming for, thats it for boyz! Not too soon either as im fed up of painting boyz.
Also im currently working on Zagstruck, very WIP, not the best picture.

Hey Guys, Another update today, a slightly more interesting one.
If i want to be able to use the squigoth as a truck its going to need a few attachments. So i dove into the orky bits that i have accumulated recently and pulled out some bits and bobz.
The biggest find has to be a fully made big shoota, the last one i had left over. You can have a big shoota as standared on a truck or a rokkit launcher, so i made a custem shoota that could be one or the other depending on the amrylist. Adds some much needed dakka to the already feroicesness of the model. Secondly i needed a grenade launcher. So my boys can charge into cover if they need to. Normally the squigoth comes with a big gun that goes on top. Ive don’t have this but there is a flat area in the back where ammo for the gun goes, huge shells. So i covered it up with some intresting thing i found (in true mek fashion), this in theory is a compressor of some kind, whichj will build up air pressure and then shoot the grenades in truly unpredictable fasion towards what ever is in front. So the boyz can dive bomb from there hand grips and the fighting platform into defenders which are covwering from grenade blasts, Or hurl glow a large chunk our of the fighting platform.
Then a early shot of the beast truck
I would love to have a boarding ramp on there too, it has a ladder for boyz to climb up, and a high platform they can jump onto tanks from. But i guess i might be pushing my luck.
Also finished Zagstruck, got some pictures of him and him with his new unit, that i will put up tomorrow.

Big green update with a healthy dose of red.
First the finished Boss zagstruck and unit. Lovely model, amazing rules, ace mob.
Yeh!
*flight of the of the Valkyries *
And squiggoth...truck!
Im happy to take this guy to the field, might add more. Was considering weathering powders, but not sure. Might do a bit of highlighin on the big buggers face at some point to bring him alive a bit. So watch out for a squiggoth face snap in the future.
With a few boyz, on top. The rest will be clung on to bullet holes, armour plates and other such positions . Ready to pounce like proud noble lions, but more like green leather sacks full of cats and dogs.
Then for fun the mob poring onto some guardsmen
