Hi guys

A new release available for the Guild of Harmony 32mm steampunk range today: Steampunk Arielle is now available in resin at the Guild of Harmony online store.

Hailing from the windswept North Atlantic coast, Arielle has always felt a deep affinity with the sea. This nautical connection has sparked late-night tavern lore that Arielle, in fact, comes from the sea itself; a conjecture that Arielle mischievously enjoys cultivating.

Steampunk Arielle is a 32mm limited resin figure. This first edition is limited to 300 resin copies, after which the figure will move to metal.

A special thank you to Weisern Loh and Mark Soley - they are responsible for this idea, and Mark did a cool concept sketch which was the 'springboard' for me to create this figure

I also have two more pieces of news!

First: I have reduced the price of all the older figures in the Guild of Harmony online store - the standard price of the non-steampunk figures is now only AUD$9.95.

The second big, exciting piece of news is this: Arielle is actually a precursor to a major new project I currently have in development, in partnership with some friends who are also heavily involved in the industry. For this reason, I have given up commission work (with the exception of some prior commitments) so that I can devote myself exclusively to sculpting for this new project, and I already have some great new miniatures ready - I think they are my best work to date! It is very exciting to be involved in something big, for which I am working for myself rather than under commission, and I can't wait to reveal more - there may be some sneak peeks coming up at some point in the near future, so stay tuned!

Yeah, I'm not too sure what the deal is with the scales on her forearm, but it's a cool detail... She would be fun to paint.

The mermaid 'tail' skirt is awesome. Very cleverly done.

Awesome news - I bought a Steampunk Alice from GoH recently - one of the last few resins. It was tremendously well cast - I seriously couldn't find a mold line/bubble on it to save my life. Also - super cheap shipping from Australia.

If this new project is some sort of unique Steampunk range I know some people that will be very happy. (Myself included!)

I picture a dwarf in some sort of carapace- styled armor.

Regardless that's a pretty cool figure.

That mini is just beautiful.
Just beautiful.
I am so impressed that she isn't tits out like most female models as well as having hips. Impressive.

That sculpt is incredible and possibly one of the best female sculpts I have ever seen.

I will probably put on on my list just to paint up....nicely done!!!

That is a fantastic model! Would work great painted as a statue, too.

Unboxed Arielle.

First look indicates a little flash but no blemishes. Harpoon bent but should be easily fixed. The only critique I have is the join for the arm is completely flat. No divot or key to match the parts.

Model looks amazing, although the harpoon might have been better in metal! Let us know if you're able to bend it back easily.

Do you have any pics comparing that for size? I'm not a huge fan of the scaly arm, and since that is a separate piece the conversion potential is really starting to gear up in my head...

Here

I honestly did not know that this manufacturer existed before this day (and in Australia no less!). Some fantastic kung-fu style models I will be sure to pick up in the future.

I also didn't know this exsisted untill this thread, and now I just bought Ariel. I'm also thinking that Zora Craft would make a pretty good Alistair Cane...

I don't get this comment. It's not like she isn't in some cheesecake bikini-model pose. And her dress is so tight on her tush it would tear if she broke wind. How is this model all that superior to "tits out" female models?

The design and the sculpting do look top notch. It will make a terrific model for everyone who is into that type of thing.

I have to say that Sebastian Archer is one of the best small-scale sculptors out there currently. The amount of detail that he can put into such a tiny figure is outstanding.

Same thing, I had no idea of their existance aswell. I looked through their inventory and they have plenty of unique and beautiful looking characters but it was with the "Not-Starkiller" that my jaw hit the floor. I'm a sucker for that character.
