Just had a couple of Mordheim games in my clubs campaign (I managed to create a T5 vampire, unfortunately not for my warbnd )

I am planning on finishing off my first unit of Spider Riders for KoW this evening.

Driving myself up the wall trying to get a template made to print some business cards... which are not actual business cards but game cards - intended for Bag the Hun, but will also become a template for Sharpe Practice and indeed any other games that needs them...

Wonderful how art programs helpfully will let you measure exactly.. then scale by $nottellingyouhowmuch$ when they print it..

I'm off from work for two weeks, so I am going to be painting IG like mad. If I finish them to quick I will be working on a light box and photographing most of my models.

Assembled the majority of my Resistance starter, however I'm leaving some parts unassembled (the liftgate on the hovercraft, the AA guns on the Gun wagons and Lifthawks, as well the turrets on the Hannibals), as when I look at them it's readily apparent that priming and painting may be difficult if they are attached.

Dug out my old painting station that the local GW gave me when they were renovating.

Put things on it. Internet cookie if you can identify some of the weirder items I gathered up from around my desk.

Got the last two Cenobite-Wraithlords modeled. (Painting is another story!)

Finished painting my heavy armor helix for my Aquan force.
All they need now is a dullcoat and they'll be ready to put on the game table.

Working on some Mercs minis for a commission. These guys are seriously cool models, on par with a lot of Infinity stuff I think (and somewhat easier to paint thanks to being 35mm rather than 28mm). Might have to get some myself at some point.

Oh hobbywise? Well, if I don't die in this ridiculous heat... Probably moving stuff to my hobby room.

After having my Hellhammer's ass handed to me in a battle yesterday, I'm thinking of a new, highly evil, army list.

There will be no morals. Not a single one in sight.

The Thunder God will strike again.

Hopefully finishing off modelling my "Big Steamie" steam tank.... track units and some main hull details then time for primer...... if I get that done.... then I need to look at a wee commission to convert an old Leman Russ hull into an artillery tractor..... happy days!

Making some models based on the game Morrowind for Frostgrave. =P

Trying (and failing) to build sponsons for my battered old 4E Russ tank. I've replaced its battlecannon with an exterminator turret, adapted from a Predaator Annihilator, and cut off its hull lascannon for a Heavy Bolter. Which, in hindsight, was a bad decision.

About to make a big fat 100 Euro order of Fallout miniatures from Brother Vinni Miniatures.

Bought the Brotherhood of Steel. Adventurers, Rascals and Citizens. All the robots except the Urban Police bot. A couple packs of heads. And for D&D, I got Hilda (the swashbuckler shield maiden) and Mganga (African Pirate?).

Also bought the Mass Effect Commander Shepard because why the feth not?

Heh, they must give free shipping over £50.

Bonus points that he's now moved into the EU so you won't have to wait weeks and have your thing go through customs checks like when he was still in Russia. =P



Now I'm pondering whether to start another blog thread now with some WIP shots of my Morrowind stuff or to wait a couple of days to have painted stuff. If I wait though that just means I'll have sculpted up more models though and that'll push that time back even further. :/

Myself, I managed to seal my Zero but I still need to get her on a base and take some photos. It was also the next best thing to a bazillion degrees out today so I'm in recovery mode for the rest of the evening.

Put together and bought a fethload of paint for my Adult Red Dragon. Hopefully going to get the bulk of it done quickly. I have my stuff for Age of Sigmar on the way!

More Morrowind stuff. Today its a Telvanni mage and a Flesh Atronach. My lamp's bulb's just burned itself out though, so I'll need to wait a few days to post anything on Dakka. Meh, that means it'll be painted at least.

USPS website has just informed me that my Litko bases have arrived, so I guess I can start working on my DBA EIR and Ancient British when I get out of the office.

I feel the last feature is the most important.

When your mere point can launch an assault consisting of few thousand Guardsmen, a full Leman Russ tank company, an artillery barrage that can level cities and another few thousand Guardsmen for good measure, yeah, pointing is pretty important.


Finished two more Mercs this afternoon, with any luck I can get the last two done tomorrow and have time to fit in (or at least start) another project before Batman and Friends arrive.
