Yeah,Khanate, the scum and villainy sectorial it would seem. Hunzakut and Kum will be in it. One supersoldier unit in the Caliphate is the Mukhtair-- or so Bostria said, some time ago. Haqq also has a new unit called the Numair coming too, but no idea which sectorial.

Thanks for the info folks . Traitor muls are useful huh? Dunno if I like the aesthetics. I do like the sound of the Clint Eastwood biker though!

It's not really a "Clint Eastwood biker".

It's the unit "Desperadoes" and one of them was given a poncho. He got immediately dubbed "Clint Eastwood" as the face had a resemblance(like most of their "We need pop culture references, stat!" sculpts do)

Not a Clint Eastwood Biker? Never mind the obvious similarity to the "Man with No Name", the serape, the hat... yeah, it is a Clint Eastwood Biker to my eyes. it just needs a cheroot to complete the image. The heavy pistols certainly reinforce the idea.
Spoiler:

Oh, RPG quickstarter rules are here http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/159673/INFINITY-RPG-FREE-Quickstart, for those who haven't seen them yet.

Take a peek at the right side of his mouth, there is a little yellow blur dot, follow that back to his mouth and you see he is smoking a cheroot in that picture, it just gets melded into the colours of his face. (HL3 confirmed?)

Isn't Numair the one that translates to Panther? IIRC there was a rumour that it was some kind of ambush camo unit for Hassassins.

And looks like the Desperadoes motto is 'Ride or Die'.... I figure they'll be riding -something-...

Maybe a motorcycle. Or maybe a big 50 gallon drum of Freedom.

Can't wait to find out!

We already know they're bikers.

Yeah, he does have a cheroot. Sweet.

Numair is panther. It will probably have ambush, that was the speculation when the ambush rules were revealed. Where it ends up, who knows? CB has been silent about these units for a while. I think Bostria was not supposed to mention them...

Mort, Freedom only comes in 55 gallon drums.

I stopped ordering from Warstore long before the ABH shenanigans. Call me a dissatisfied customer. And let's not dredge this up anymore.

We just got the Mobile Brigada box. Seems we are due an O.R.C. box. Any news about that? Also new sculpts of the Father-Knight and the Reverend-Healer . Tidy up the outstanding minis from Icestorm.

Grimdork, Van Zant would be a nice add to USARiadna.

Never mind the Father-officer or Reverend Healer (or the Grenzer, for that matter; I think the one in the Nomads starter box is the only one?), where's the other Shang Ji Invincibles miniatures. Unlike those two O:I exclusives, the Shang Ji are the core of the Yu Jing HI forces, and there's ... one miniature, and he's far too small. :(

edit: now that I've caught up, I suppose they'll be in the Yu Jing Invincible Army.

I was always a little confused about that. There's three different units in Yu Jing called Invincibles. There's the Invincibles, the Shang Ji Invincibles, and now the Zuyong Invincibles. Were these all supposed to be different units, or were they supposed to represent the same unit? Hopefully that's something they'll clear up a bit more when they finally get around to doing more Ingvincible Army stuff.

The Zuyong invincibles replace/are the same as the old unit that was simply called invincibles.

As an aside, Shang ji supposedly translated roughly to better or improved.

The Invincibles are now the Zuyong Invincibles, and as Henshini says, Shang Ji basically means 'better' so they're the more advanced Invincible armour. There's also the Yan Huo Invincibles.

All three new suits - the Shang Ji, Zuyong and Yan Huo - are developments of the original suit. The Shang Ji suit is replacing the original armour in the Yu Jimg army, the Zuyong is a lightweight recon suit and the Yan Huo is the heavy fire support armour.

For once, the new miniatures aren't retcons (like the Kum bikers, etc), but an in-universe improvement and development.

The kum bikers got new leadership and started importing bikes. And the Morat unit changing it weapons too focus on hunting Tohaa.

The Yu-Jing lady is showing an awful lot of leg/butt from the other angle.

I foresee a lot of stocking/tights paintjobs in the future.

Nice, but they're not a Seraph.

CB has 22 days left. It'll be here.

Is the term Spiv? That's the pan-o guy XD. Not really a fan of Miss YuJing. Is that hair supposed to be jade colored? :eye-roll:
Ah well, the first two, nomad and ariadna, were interesting. Here's to Haqq and ALEPH being interesting. The renders were.

I quite like the paint job on the Haqq model.
Spoiler:

No sign of the Aleph one yet and I'm not holding out much hope, the render makes it look like a 50-year-old's head on a 20-year-old's body.

I really don't like that Haqq model. It looks like a 2nd edition Eldar model. Ah well, can't win em all.

I really like the Haqqislam and Yu Jing models. While Angels Yu Jing lady seems to have forgotten her pants, I'll probably paint her wearing dark hosiery.

But the Haqqislam model... man. I love that. I'll have to find excuses to use it as much as I can in Infinity, since I'll probably be DMing the RPG.

Speaking of 2ndEdition Eldar, does that Haqqi lady have guns on her head? Are those mandiblasters? Craniblasters?

I assumed they were lights or cameras or something. They don't look like guns.

Lights or cameras? sounds about right. A much better model than the Pan-O or YuJing. But why the hairy chest? I'd paint it like a gold foil or some such.

Now the regular releases-- the not 'exclusive crowd-funding edition'-- for these models are to have different arms? Without the sword and pistol, the Haqq civvie would be a perfect HVT, or just generic civvie on the table. And long as there are no rage-fists of course.

Got my Ariadna army box from miniature market today. That devil dog and his antipode are huge. Not as beefy as my iguanas but I don't think I'll miss having a TAG in this faction. Looks a lot like Ice storm with one faction. Haven't had the chance to look at the scenery but the book looks solid. There was an error in the book, Spanish mavericks entry with a little English mavericks entry on a slip of paper with a sybella(however you spell her name) making an OOPS face with an apology on the back.

It's a diagonal net pattern on the chest, not fur. The painting on that model is well below studio standard so it's hard to see (the painting on the fur is pretty average as well), but you can see it on the render.

They said they would do alternate versions as bootleg HVT's, which are obviously unarmed. Natural assumption is arm swaps and possibly head (if they're separate), since that's how they do the ITS prize alternate models.

On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Think the Yu-Jing is my favourite of those shown so far. Sexy looking sculpt (with or without leggings) but manages to look like an absolute bad-ass at the same time, absolutely stupendous bit of sculpting.

I'm sure people are excited for this "variant"(implying that anyone who didn't buy it through CB or GenCon really got a choice at a "variant" amirite?) of Van Zant:

Personally, I won't be buying him. This nonsense with "We made an exclusive version with different arms" has to stop.
