Wow have not played WH40k since the RT days and in a moment of weakness I stepped inside a GW store and stepped out several hundred dollars lighter. So, I have jumped in and started painting a DIY chapter in yellow since it really has been very impressive looking from Imperial Fists. Don't really care for how the new GW washes behave or their layer paints. (Was thinning paint really that hard?) After pressing forward to finish one marine, I don't know if I care for how the eyes turned out or the wash. The bronze eagle on the bolter was going to be bone colored, but it wasn't turning out how I liked. Guess I should have read up on GW layering system.
