Reworked the list a little after taking some advice, let me know what you think of it now.

Just getting back into the hobby slowly and finally made a list, most of the models i already had so it was a no brainier to include them. Anyway whatever feedback you might have will be welcome.

Commander, shield generator, missile pod, plasma rifle, iridium armor
2 bodyguards, 2 fusion blaster, 2 missile pod, marker drone
Ethereal

10 fire warriors
10 fire warriors
10 fire warriors
10 fire warriors
12 kroot, 12 sniper rounds

2 broadsides, missile drone, 1 velocity tracker
2 broadsides, missile drone, 1 velocity tracker
2 broadsides, missile drone, 1 velocity tracker

3 crisis suits, 3 plasma rifles, 3 missile pods
3 crisis suits, 3 plasma rifles, 3 missile pods
riptide, ion accelerator, target lock, positional relay, plasma rifle

2 tetras
2 tetras
2 tetras

There is the whole list, adds up to just under the 2000 mark.
As you can see i am very fond of plasma since i play a lot of marines and elite armies and its clear why i took an ethereal with that giant block of fire warriors (would even add more if i had the points). Anyway let me know where i should skim it down and where i should beef it up.

Riptides are better than crisis in my opinion, tougher and more firepower and for around the same points or less so I'd lose 1 crisis team for another riptide and give that one a HBC with EWO and VT. I'd drop the target lock on the one you have since it doesn't have any drones with it (which is good) and give it a stim injector.

I'd drop the drones on the ethereal and the crisis (drones are to close range for where you want to be and pinning is ineffective a lot of the time).

I'd lose the bodyguard and tag the commander onto your remaining crisis team.

I would also drop 2 broadside teams for a skyray for some more MLs and skyfire and a hammerhead with railgun and longstrike for some AV14 killing capabilities.

I don't know what your FWs have on them but pulse rifles are your best option.

I don't know what the points come out to now (I have no idea on the stats of tetras) but if you redo the list and repost it we could offer some more advice

Appreciate the feedback but i kept it at 1 riptide to avoid having the same list everyone else does, same reason for having the bodyguards.
I will take your advice and drop the drones.
The fire warriors have the rifles and i kept the skyray out of it because i didn't want vehicles in the list (a lot of people i game with are quick to aim at the tanks first turn).

Just joking haha But I like the crisis suits but I would go with:
3 XV8's
- plasma rifle, plasma rifle and then anything else you want

3 XV8's
- Missile pod, Missile pod and then same as above

I think this setup is good because you can just sit the missile pods back and fire away then bring the plasmas up and JSJ
I don't see any marker drones? You kind of need those imo lol

I kind of like to take a team of XV25 stealth suits with burst cannons they are cheap and can have marker drones or gun drones (if you upgrade) and then can deep strike in.
Defiantly not the most used tactic but I like to drop them in in the backfield behind the enemy and pop off 9 burst cannon shots. PLUS they have a 4+ cover save in the open if I recall

Skyray with sms can fire indirect and can use mls from your tetras to rain hell on things, only thing it needs to come out of cover for is mls and even that is just barely since they sit on top of the fins.

I'm not saying you have to put in another riptide I was merely suggesting it would make your life easier. You can run with the crisis if you want but change 1team to flamer/fusion blaster so you get something you can use against hordes and armour. At best you can only score a glancing on a 6 vs AV13 and can do nothing to AV14 except with your riptide which in my experience draws a lot of fire and it risks gets hot to even glance AV14.

Oh and 1 suit in each squad with VRT would be a huge boon for you since if you get assaulted by sheer dumb luck you're in a lot of trouble

I'll add in the VRT to the suits, thanks for that.

You definitely need something for AV14

The bodyguards will do that with fusions, just need the bits to swap and I'm gold. Will try to edit the list soon when i get home from work.

Any opponent with any AV14 vehicles would run this list into the ground quickly.
