My friend is a real Khorne fiend, and wouldn't dream of fielding other marks.

He stated that with Mark of Khorne his Lord got Furious Charge (my codex says Rage) and Axe of Blind Fury gave him Rage (which it does). He also was under the impression that he could get up to 12 attacks per round with the Axe of Blind Fury.

So, telegraphically:

1)12 Attacks, really?
2)What's the point of giving the Axe of Blind Fury Rage when the Mark of Khorne already does?

The axe is a daemon weapon so give +d6 attacks

and with the FAQ, you can give the Axe to a Daemon Prince who will not have rage

If the Khorne Lord is on a Juggernaut he could get 13 attacks on the charge, not just 12.

Lord =3
2CCWwPistol =+1
Juggernaut=+1
Rage=+2
lucky Axe roll =+6

=13 =Dead Things

Also, the Mark of Khorne does not confer Furious Charge. It could be that he was in a unit that had the Icon of Wrath, though.

It is funny though how chaos daemons of khorne get furious charge....creates some serious confusion.
so imagine running bloodleters of khorne next to khorne marked csm...each has different things khorne does for them.

Unless his unit had the Icon, then he doesn't get furious charge.

how is it confusing? One is daemon only, and the other is marine only

So Axe of Blind Fury on a Lord is redundant, but good for a DP. I was already arguing that his Lord wouldn't get Furious Charge, I showed him the page in his book.

He wants to field the Lord on a bike, so no jugger (no mini in his collection). But I think it's mainly for the ablative wounds. So 12 attacks. uh. I hope he wasn't thinking the Axe gave 2d6 attacks... ugh.

How come GW rulebooks give us non english speakers such a hard time with reading comprehension?

I don't see where the problem is, the Lord has not FC on his own, but if he is in a unit with an Icon, he gets FC.

And here the only difference is that he gets 12 A max with a roll of 6 on the Dweapon attacks, while on a jugger he gets an axtra attack.

Also while its interesting to give the Axe to a DP, its also very interesting on a Lord, its a +2S Ap2 +D6 A weapon...

Irs best used on a Lord, because a lord has Acces to a 4++ save and various options, while not all of them are has good as Chapter Masters options.

To be honest a lord on a juggernaut with the axe of blind fury doesn't need furious charge.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.

Eeeh still having S7 is kinda nice, specially Vs things like Dreads, defilers or something, and stuff with T6+.

Specially if with Gift of Chaos you get +1S and you can then ID Marines characters...

Armageddon, Pry System, Armageddon Sector, Armageddon Sub-sector, Segmentum Solar.

Yeah an Initiative striking AP2 weapon is gold on a lord. It really doesn't matter that you double up on rage or take the ws/bs negative for being able to slice though terminators even before most of them can swing a sword.

In any case don't forget to roll him up in a unit that has another champion to take challenges so the lord can make the most of those ridiculous amounts of high S AP2 attacks.
