Here is a picture of my Palanquin of Nurgle conversion with a lord riding. Let me know what you think.

Looks good only a bit blurry. Do you happen to have a sharper picture?

Yeah it's kind of hard to make out what happening in that pic. Also not a huge fan of putting the lord on a base if he's going to be mounted, at the very least stand him directly on the palanquin/bug thing but reposing is an option to consider as well.

That said, I like the goo effects and the bug thing looks cool from what I can see, is that the new GW Nurgle's Rot paint?

Yea I can get a better picture, I took this while at the tournament last Saturday. The Lord isnt a permanent fixture he comes off, the little lip at the bottom of the Palanquin holds any model in place quite well without glue or magnets.

Looks excellent! May I ask how you built it?

I actually like having a slotted space for a regular base, too, because even if I spend the time to convert something awesome like this, I might not always want to run my lord on it. Like, if I'm playing a smaller points game against a newer player, I'd rather just leave him on foot.

I love it! Great paintjob too! So what i understand is the Champion slides into the litle space on the back of the miniature and is held there? Very inventive!

Excellent skills, sir!
