Ok, as all start, I don't know where to begin. Although I suppose I do.

I've been asked by some gaming mates to create some 'gangs' for an upcoming game of Necromunda/imunda/mordheim/boardgame that has been created.

I don't know the rules of said game but it involves different gangs and zombies set in 40k so....lets go.

I don't know why they asked me to do this, even though I do enjoy converting, I'm not the best at it. But lets not take a step backward before we start.

Now I love the tv series 'the walking dead' but when you receive an email with subject title, 'Fight the living, fear the dead', my brain thinks 'how many zombies do I have to paint?'

It's not all about the zombies! As the email title and the tv show tag line says, there is plenty of living to account for.

Sooooo, long story short, there was an imperial planet, on the outskirts of the universe. A useless planet, which a lot of races were fighting about, wasn't remembered after a zombie outbreak occurred. You have your usual 'lost and forgotten, behind enemy lines' gang of soldiers, a group of 'misfits and wrong doers' from different backgrounds surviving, your 'ravenous tribes hellbent on cannibalism and mayhem' (even though there are zombies), ohh yes the zombies, and of course....... 'the inquisition'. Because they are everywhere.

So the gangs are:

-'lost and forgotten'
-'misfits and wrong doers'
-'ravenous tribe'
-'zombies!!!!'
-'inquisition'

I'm sure the names will change over time, and I'm sure more gangs will be added.

Well I hope you are intrigued, I'm a busy man so this will be a long slog, enjoy.

Right, lets start with an ork and tau.

These will be part of a group of mixed species which have banded together to survive. I'm thinking an ork, two tau, two human and some others.

Here's the ork and first tau wip.

Great work not sure about the gun on the Tau myself. Love the Ork head whos is it?

I'm sure over time i'll think of some names for these guys.

Brother De Rossi of the Emperor's Spears. Lost in combat, fighting for survival, slowly losing his discipline for following all things codex and astrates.

Still working on all the other minis, a lick of paint needed soon.

Was digging around and found two minis to make an inquisitor and warrior priest.

Any comments on all these would be much appreciated.

Love the non-GW aliens.
New alien species are throughout the galaxy. With 10^20th power stars out there, there are bound to be tons of alien races. Love the work that you are going. here. Especially like the Orgryn. He looks serious. Where on earth didi you get the power fist that he is wielding.

Was asked if I could make a tank as a gang, so i thought ok, maybe three guys are using it as a sort of moving home.

Started work on it, going to add sandbags to it and of course heads to the other two guys. As always C&Cs welcome.

Thought i'd show some progress on my emperor's spears. Taking a break from the gangs as I wait for some bits in the post.

Some more bits arrived so been working on a few things.

Started on another truescale marine and chaos marine. Will add some chains to the chaos and a pipe of sort from the head to replace the spike. The chaos will form part of a cultist warband.

TS CSM looks boss! New TS marine with the power weapon looks good too, but not as imposing as the CSM.

I really like the idea and style of the guard survivors. Good job!
