Apologies if you mentioned this in another thread, but what material did you use for the cobble surface?

It is a textured paper I found at Michael's, but I'm sure you could probably find something similar at any hobby/craft store.

Very nice. Are you going to be making resin castings of these as well??

Yes. I have a round about piece that I am making to go with it and then they are off for mold making and casting. It will probably be a couple of weeks before I have the completed resin pieces. Once I do they will go up for sale on eBay with my other stuff.

What about a large 'town square' piece that can link together several roads? Would it be too big to cast?

That is what the round about will be. It is going to be about 6" wide with a connector point for the roads in four directions. Over all it should be about 10" wide. I am hoping to have all the materials by this weekend. The main piece has been cut and the texturing and details just need applied. The way I have it laid out is the center will be able to be finished in one of three ways. A plain grassy area, with a fountain or with a statue. Both the fountain and statue are still in the works, but I will post pictures of the project as it progresses.

Here is the complete set together. They will be going out for casting in the next day or two.

Tressel,
Very nice roads sir. Cant wait to see them. Since Battlefront cant seem to get there product in stock I see a lot of people starting to frequent EBAY and purchasing your stuff. I was at my LGS last night and we were talking about your roads.
Question do you plan on doing some impacted roads as well in both cobble and rural? Cant wait to see the statue or fountain for your center you are doing as well.
I want to get all my roads at one time so I can be sure they all go together and look the same.

This is some gorgeous work. If I had any local FoW players around me, I would definitely pick up some of your roads to play on. I can't wait to see the fountain.

Nice but my only critique would be your curved section. It looks a little sloppy compared to your other pieces. I'd look into redoing it.

Shipping out for mold making and production in the morning. Hopefully I'll have the final product in a week or two.

The molds are done and I should have the sample set in my hands by the end of the week. I'll get pictures up as soon as I can.
