Hello , I'm a BIG fan of the old days...yes , when every miniature have a personality you can think of every mini as an individual being that you want to survive.
Well , the other day just cossed up on this pics from the 1987 citadel "limited releases" catalogue...

I was shocked! I've never saw those before, I asked around and seems they don't have rules at all...but people was so excited about the possibility of including space minos on their "pirate" warband , looters , "count as" , whatever....
So as much as I love minotaurs and also "freaky" things , I just put my hands at sculpting my own Space Minotaur!
Now on the oldhammer forum there's a lot of people throwing ideas and asking for more, so I decided to post it here too in the case some wierd soul like me can like them too

The idea is to have like 2 regular models done with 2 different weapons (mostly a Heavy bolter and a heavy flamer) and 1 squad leader.

UUUuupdate timeeee!!
Some mechanical parts added , some cables , etc
Ciber-leg finished! Also muscle and breast shell armour surfaces are smoothed.

Very nice... The original model predates me by quite a few years! The sculpting is very good, the cables and armour plates are seamless. My only concern is that he is slightly top heavy and could do with beefier legs. Hope you're doing the gun horns!

Here here are the ALMOST finished pics , it's 99% done , just need to add the ribbets and adjust some of the cuts for molding and the connection of the chain blade.
I've choose to put a big chain blade on the gun because I want something similar as the ogryns about the fact that they carry heavy and hard guns wich can be used to smash the enemies in close combat once they reach them after
a furious roaming charge!!
This particular head have a respirator mask , as I like the idea of this guys are primitive beings and their breeding organs are not ready to high levels of pollution.
Anyway for the second guy I can guy with no mask
As I've stated before there will be gun horns , but I'll add them later on an extra head.
Also I want to say that all of the old citadel minotaur heads fit VERY well on this guy too with just some small greenstuff work, so many variants are possible!
It feets perfect on 40mm round or squared base.
*Cables on the head are not perfectly posed because it needs to be glued for that*
Ok , the pics now!

Space Minotaur finished pics:
It's on a 40 mm round base. (not included)
It will be a metal miniature provided in 4 separate parts: Head , weapon, right hand and a piece of cable.
It's 10 GBP per single unit , 3 units or more will be just 9 GBP per piece.
PM or posting here to add to the list . It will be almost "made to order" by now.
Bring some new meat to your old army come on!

Note: You can see a small gap between the older of the gun (right hand) and the gun itself , it will be finished once the mini be cutted down to parts

Note B) More variants will be done once the first one be casted and sold , more likely another one with different head, weapon, details , etc and a Minotaur Leader.

Note C) Old minotaurs heads from warhammer fantasy are very suitable for this guy too , just need some small green stuff work, so very easy to convert

Thanks to all!!

Wow. Your Green Stuff work is really, really impressive. I always loved the ideas of minotaurs in 40k, so this is shaping up to be a great thread to follow!
