I've finally settled on a unit to base my Soviet army on, the 1st Czechoslovak Independent Tank Brigade. Does anyone have any pictures or information about this unit? I have a couple of pictures and the link below so far, so any help would be much appreciated.

Beware the JS-2...

I think the Czechs got 8, just for the May victory parade in Prague.

Only tanks were T34/85 with Corps assets of ISU152 or SU152 and SU76. BA64 pop up too.

Have more but its 3am here so will have to wait...

Found another link.

http://www.network54.com/Forum/47210/thread/1124012069/Czechoslovak+SU%B4s+and+IS+Tanks

These sources are listing T-34/76s SU-85s and T-70s as well. More importantly the pictures all show the typical flat green paint scheme and most of them seem to have numbering and the Czech roundel as the only markings, which I'll need to source appropriate 15mm versions of. I've also seen pictures of half built Hetzers used during the Prague liberation, that's a tempting future project.

If I have IS-2s I will of course be painting at least one of them pink.

Is that a finger? I hope to god it is, because if it's a Phallus it would make a disturbing float at Gay Pride.
