Not sure if this would be a better fit for News and Rumours...

That said, cool looking piece of terrain.

I'm not a mod, but I've reported the thread, so hopefully it'll get moved to the proper place shortly.

That looks fantastic, very reasonable price as well for a building that size. (link for the lazy! http://www.lasercutcard.co.za/scenery/buildings/ryokan )

Although, you need an Onobiwan miniature in there somewhere to kick those Aleph out!

Bottom floor: 123mm x 234mm
Height to bottom of roof is 62mm

That is all I can get from the cutting file. Will get the actual dimensions a little later from the actual model

Totally forgot to take measurements last night but I did create a value bundle... 3 Ryokan for $50 - save 15%

We already have a vehicle called the CASSPIR

This is a real-life vehicle... if South African accents are your thing, there is a video here

We are starting work on the CASSPIR II - our take on a more advanced version that will also serve as a troop transport in the game system of your choice.

These are CAD renders of the cut file. Hoping to have a prototype cut next week.

Depending on the cost inc shipping, I would buy at least 3!
Didn't realise you had so many models up for sale - need to browse fully tonight.
Under the shipping tab you list alternatives based on weight - it would be really helpful if under each model description you stated the weight of the model.
Also are 2 'letters' (300g) cheaper to send to the UK as opposed to 1 parcel?

Also: Are the £ prices fixed or do they vary depending on the day's exchange rate??

Hi. I will do that with the weights.. Thanks for the idea. If you go to the site and just add some stuff to your basket and then click on "shopping basket" there is an option there to get estimated shipping costs.

But pretty much on all cases shipping in units of 300g is the cheapest. I think you can get two casspirs for 300g

Ooh. How is the CASSPIR II going to vary from the regular CASSPIR, barring the addition of a turret?

Seeing those vehicles without the wheels does kind of make me want to make a rusted out wreck of one. ...But justifying buying a nice kit just to scrap it isn't agreeing with Ms Wallet right now.=/

Have you put together any painted versions of the BTR-40? I see that you're going for South African designs (something which the market is sorely lacking), but I'd be interested in any modernised versions of older vehicles that you might be putting together in future (ie like the BTR-40's which were modernised by the Indonesians).

The Casspir II will have side doors too somewhere and mounts for extra weapons where the current casspir has spare wheels. After that... we will see

Eland Test 2

Quite apart from using this in bush war games, I think this weird little vehicle is going to find it into my IG army as a Salamander

See the real vehicle here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMT_WqpKAhQ

Futurehab: Corner Bar Test 2

This has undergone a bit of a redesign as you can see...rather than have the roof strengthened with internal trusses, we had the idea to create an entire interior that will provide this support.

This is just the mockup to test the fit - this interior is only single layer card and is a bit flimsy but it will be made double layer in the production.

This makes the roof capable of supporting even more weight than the previous version and also means you can slide the top off the model to get access to the interior.

Impisi Urban Pacification Vehicle

This is the cad render of a model we are thinking of doing - sort of a futuristic SWAT vehicle. The working name is "IMPISI" (pronounced im-PEEZ-ee).

What do you think?

I like the Buffel. It looks very sci-fi, like something you'd see racing around the Ash Wastes of Necromunda. Is the back wide enough to put 25mm bases either side of the seats?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Alex - the Buffel is quite a bit smaller than that... normal troops could sit on the seats of they had no bases but the entire back bed is only about 40mm wide. There are some pictures with models on the website.

The Impisi is getting a Cad workover as we speak... we want to make the turret at the top a lot smaller... more like a remote weapons system as it is making the whole model too high

As soon as I have the new CAD I will post it here
