I was curious on how to properly use this. I know bruce is a no go, but then how many warders will you need? So far I am thinking of only using one with 2 units of runeshapers to take advantage of 4 point lights, but I am encountering problems with armor cracking.
Thanks for any help!

the tier 4 benefit looks pretty awesome, but with the units required any awesome animus (+2 from the pyre or electro-leap from the storm) would expire by the time you engaged the enemy.. ... plus Mountain King.
I never liked the elemental light trolls, but I could see some nastiness with Storm Trolls rerolling.
High Arm definitely seems like a major problem with this theme.

The Pyre troll is quite good, same with Storm troll. I think all of them are quite decent and certainly useful. They all fill a niche in the army for just a few points and they host a decent animus on top of being able to transfer to first in order to save the big guys.

Has anyone else thought of including bruce and a winter troll, so you can go second and have everything your opponent attacks with on their second turn become frozen?

Coined by Professor Lust on the PP forums, "i am now calling my MTK "Bruce" because these threads all die hard but some poor sap always seems motivated to make a sequel."
As for the list, your ARM cracking should be coming from two units of Warders - KS +1 STR, Pyre/Slag Animus, Battle Driven = POW 15 Weapon Masters. Slag Trolls can deal with non-living ARM relatively well. Rune Shapers can assist with the lack of Fell Caller by knocking things down.
As for including the Mountain King - Calandra's stack will be spent on him instead of the army. I don't like him in the tier list.

And here I was thinking it was because of The Chin™.

So bruce is a no go, even for cold hilariousness? I think having two power 22 fist would be enough armor cracking, and with the winter troll, you could do an assassination run on their caster, or just move to engage favorably.

Freezer triggers at the end of the activation, so the Mountain King is still going to be taken off the table pretty easily - especially with just the Krielstone buff and only 48 boxes. You actually present a lot more with two units of Warders - ARM 21 and 80 boxes with Tough and Reach.
If you're really worried about high ARM, Slags will wreck jacks and buffed Warders will put the hurt on beasts and most jacks.

Well, the light trolls would be densely packed so that they could only be engaged by one or two jacks/beasts. Then they break the line and bruce can come down heavily on the frozen models.
