Hey all, I just finished my first list above 1000 and the goal is to be slowly aggressive and able to handle many situations.

HQ Librarian / Terminator armor/ Storm shield / ML2

Tactical Terminators x 10 / x2 CML / x2 chainfists

Mortis Contemptor Dreadnought / x2 Kheres assault cannons / CML

Scout Squad x5 / x5 cameo cloaks / x4 sniper rifles / x1 missile launcher

Razorback / Las cannon with twin linked plasma gun
Tactical Marines x 5 / x1 missile launcher / x 1 combiplas

Rhino
Tactical Marines x 10 / x1 heavy bolter / x1 combi flamer / x1 flamer

Vindicator / storm shield

Land Speeder Squadron x 1 / x1 multi melta / x1 typhoon missile launcher

The basic idea is to walk up with the terminators while using the rhino and vindicator as cover. Since the majority of this army has indirect fire or will flank walking up won't reduce fire much and will allow me to contest a decent amount of victory points. I realize now that librarians have been nerfed due to the randomness in their powers and their somewhat lackluster effects but if all goes well I'll be able to gate or support with buffs at the very lest blocking low ap blasts with his shield. The terminators if needed can also separate into 2 squads, one with the two cmls for artillery duty and the others with the two chain fists for better anti vehicle assaults.

The mortis is here for AA and anti drop capabilities thanks to the skyfire and interceptor rules it gets not to mention the x2 kheres are a threat to a great deal of things which adds to the swiss army terminators no to mention it's ability to add indirect fire via it's cyclone missile launcher. The rhino can stay with the terminators and provide cover when needed or block assaults and drop off the marines for some anti mob action "their equipment will likely change depending on lists I go against". The Vindicator adds indirect fire and an excellent deterrent to clumped vehicles and a promising target to detract from my contemptor and termies. The razorback will hopefully get into a flanking position where it can sit on a victory point or prevent too much enemy spreading for more effective missile blasts. The scout squad does much the same thing with a victory point and can possibly pin large mobs. I thought that the speeder would be a nice touch for anti artillery or monstrous creatures and the versatility of its typhoon missiles and deep strike could keep my opponent guessing.

Sry for the wall of text, this is pretty much my first army and I'm just trying to piece together posts and reviews of others from this site to make an effective swiss army Tactical termie list! Please offer me whatever advice you can

Seems to me that you're going for a mainly fun list. The one thing I would point out is that you are not really taking advantage of the IF chapter trait. The termies will benefit from the bolter drill but that's about it. Tank hunting centurions or devastators are awesome, I would try to fit a unit in there.

You're correct, my game shop doesn't really have competitive tournaments due to huge cheese all the time. That's a good point, I forgot to mention that I'm running iron hands ruling for the feel no pain for everyone, I just really liked the paint job for the crimson fists.

I've been trying to look up the most point efficient units in the current sm codex and was wondering what people consider to be most cost efficient.

For vehicles I concluded on land speeders with multi meltas and for anti infantry daka preds. What's your take on points efficiency for space marines?
