Net Lists:
Necron flying circus. Lots O Night Scythes w/ 2-3 Doom Scythes. Add 5 Voltaic staff Cryteks for real nastiness. I actually played this in a 30 man tournament and smashed everything around. It was my 1st time playing Necrons and i forgot the twin linked on my Scythes for the first two games and still came in 1st.
Eldar Wave serpent spam or jet bike seer counsel lists.
Nids - Skyblight Flying monstrous creature spam is nasty.
Space Marine White Scar bike spam is very competitive.
Demons - Not too sure never played vs demons. Screamer list w/ Keeper of Secrets maybe not sure what the list is called.
I am sure there are more they slip my mind atm.

I can attest to the filth that is the azrael blob. Can imagine its only gotten worse.
Would a mono-khorne daemon list with 4 FMC be a 'flying circus'? Wondering if the requirement is for *good* FMC or just any old FMC you have lying about

Netlist = OMG that list beats me every time I play you it must be broken.
The term is generally used by someone who has never searched online for information on the hobby. Either they've never bothered or thought to to it or are just not that good with the internet. They get the idea that online there are these godlike "netlists". Lists and army builds that are so good that they are akin to typing in an "invincibility mode" cheat in a computer game.
This is often an excuse used a lot like "Overpowered" and "Cheesy" and also the term "Beardy!"
Basically people don't like getting beaten and also don't like admitting that their opponent might be a better player than then. So they resort to terms and definitions that ascribe victory to other elements - picking on things like super lists - super units - broken game balance etc.... In fact whilst GW games do have inbalance in them I'd wager a lot of the general complaints thrown around are more a result of poor playing than inherent game weakness

7 Flyers at 1500? How are you not tabling him turn 1? What's wrong with your opponent bringing something he likes that's not really competitive? About 5 is tops for being competitive at 1500.
Netlists are fine you can tell people with netlists. They have a list that is nearly good and can rofl stomp poor players but lose to those who are competent. Generally they've taken a list that won a tournament and slightly "improved" it without understanding how to use it and why it was designed the way it was. The other "netlists" are just spam lists based on what lots of people have worked out are the best things in a codex. Like Wave Serpent spam, Triptide etc.

I bring 7 at 1500 and never get tabled. I also bring an Imperial Bunker w/ a void and put the 2+ lord in there. That will not die in a turn even if you explode the bunker b/c of the 2+.

You just have to watch their list carefully. If they have easy ways of popping that bunker you don't put the coms relay on top you put it behind it w/ the lord.
You can also leave a group of 5 Warriors on the table top w Lord if their list has a lot of long range and your worried.
Then when the empty Scythe comes in you can pick them up.

Which any DP army still tables turn 1. New Guard likewise, particularly with the optional SHA rules being used (where the bastion is removed if destroyed). Plus any aggressive army just jumps forward and ignores the flyers. With 7 at 1500 there's not going to be a huge threat inside them. But that is a digression 7 flyers at 1500 is not a competitive build. It is a 1 trick pony that lots of armies can easily deal with. Its not a terrible build that any idiot can beat but someone who knows what they are doing can deal with it.
Cronair is again what would be considered a Netlist. It lost a lot of popularity when Tau dropped as they have silly AA compared to everyone else (including Astra Militarum). With a shift to Spyderstar or Wraithwing being more popular. Personally I still prefer Cronair but then I did basically invent it (along with lots of other people. I wrote the list initially in 5th then changed it up a little when 6th dropped and bought it on the day 6th Ed came out the biggest change was all the Lanceteks became Stormteks, I imagine lots of other people did the same thing at about the same time).
