I'm looking to order some bits I need for my SM army and I was hoping I could get some suggestions on where a good place to get them might be. Yes I know I can just Google "Warhammer 40k bits" or go to ebay but I'd rather be pointed to an exact website or ebay seller. Instead of just assuming which is best I'd rather use one supported by "word of mouth".

Few details, I'm in the US (New York to be exact), would prefer low shipping costs but shipping time doesn't matter too much. As for what I'm looking for at the moment, see below. Thanks.

I've used horde o bits before. I'd recomend them.

Also, you can generally google the name of a bit seller and find comments/reviews on them.

Horde of Bits is a good one, but shopping eBay is your only choice. Games Workshop placed a crack down policy on bits sellers. Infinine wisdom, right there.

Edit: You can always look up third party bits suppliers that will make your army more unique/one of a kind. If you're already paying "bits" prices, you might as well go a bit fancier with them.

Hoard O' Bits was good, but as far as I know they haven't updated their stock in months, space marines anyway.

Blackdagger Games is also good, although some things are more expensive than Hoard O' Bits, but you can get more single pieces rather than a ton of stuff you don't need. He also restocks, which is a huge plus.

Bitz Store is good, refreshes their stock quite frequently, but they don't carry all the factions.

Mega Bitz Shop is mint. Large selection, frequent restocks, and worldwide free shipping for orders 30 euros.

Letthedicedecide and BitzBarn used to be my goto places, but they got hit hard by the GW bitz embargo. Still check them out though, as maybe they have got around it by now. I know that BitzBarn use to have infrequent updates a while back, not sure about now though. He was a little slow, but the order ALWAYS arrived.

Places to avoid like the plague, these guys are complete donkey-caves. No communication whatsoever. Let the PayPal claim go right up to the end without even a word. If I think of anymore to avoid I'll post them up:

Bits and Kits

Well it seems that I may not needs as many extra bits as I thought. I'm looking to pick up a Sternguard Veteran Squad and it looks like I'll have some of the extra bits I need from there. Granted I still need legs, always need legs!

I second Black Dagger games, have ordered a bunch of stuff and had no problems. Apparently not too many others have either, as the account has 100% feedback on eBay.

I ended up going with Black Dagger games via Ebay. They had all the bits I needed, some were a bit more than other places (talking cents, not dollars). Low shipping cost was great too. Looks like my army will soon be WYSIWYG 100%. Thanks everybody!

Got all my bits from Black Dagger yesterday, took less than a week to get them too me. All the bits were in perfect shape. Already have everything glued and ready for priming tonight.

I'd def use them again and recommend them to others.

Bitz barn looks good, they even have the bitz for Forge world stuff including the resin primarch statutes

I looked into bits-world on eBay as well but Black Dagger had all the bits I needed at once. Some a bit more than other places but one shipping fee made up for the price difference.
