I'm at a loss.
My order for 1 battle mat from zuzzy miniatures was placed over four months ago. As you can guess, I haven't gotten it yet. I've sent numerous emails and facebook messages to zuzzy staff and never gotten anything back.
I know a lot of other folks have had problems too. Yes, I also know zuzzy is a small operation but four months and no replies is just plain rude.
Does anyone have an address or phone number for these jokers?
Paypal doesn't allow refunds after 45 days.

Generally if you call Paypal and explain the situation they will refund you your money and also freeze the account of the person responsible.

Thanks for the idea. The Paypal site doesn't allow you to make a claim but I will try calling them.

Yeah, a wait of months seems typical for them. I'm waiting on one myself.

Yeah, from what I've heard from people that have bought from them, it's fairly normal waiting this long.

In all sincerity, I wish there was a reliable way to contact Zuzzy. I say that because I wish I could either join their crew and improve things or buy it outright and fix it. They have a Beautiful product that could really be awesome if they were more carefully run. I mean, just one person to spend an hour on email a day would leave people less upset with their service. Let alone just helping to move production along if that's even possible. I can't imagine that making those mats is a fast or easy thing to do.

Not intending to justify anything, but a couple buddies of mine have ordered from zuzzy and a couple month wait time is the norm. I'm pretty sure it's one guy pouring the latex for these individually one at a time, possibly part-time.
That said, the website says 2-6 weeks and up to 2 months for international, so if it's been over 2 months you're definitely within your rights to get a refund. I'd be pretty peeved after 4 months too.

I received 3 mats to Japan in 5 or 6 weeks. Four months is excessive. They are slow, but not that slow.

OK, the mat arrived today. Everything looks to be in order. It was just very, very late.
Still beautiful work though.

Zuzzy is lucky the product is so good that when it eventually arrives most folks (including my clubmates) are won over.

Yeah I waited three months for mine to arrive, and when I got them, I realised I had misunderstood the sizes so now Imhave a spare one! Oops, but they guy responded fast when I queried the long time and he apologised and threw in a couple of little matts for free. Glad your stuff came for you, they are definitely worth the wait!

I actually got the tracking number for my mat yesterday! Tomorrow would be exactly 8 weeks from when I ordered, and they said it would take 6-8 weeks when I placed the order.
So, looks like they may be spot on with mine, at least. Will update when I receive it

Yeah, the customer service issues have put me off. I ended up buying one on Ebay- Desolate Reaches. Its been prepainted and I'm not sure if I'm going to use it (desert theme).

I'm at 9 weeks and change now (domestic), and I've received nothing back from Zuzzy, not even an email except for the initial purchase.
I love the one mat I have (which is why I bought two more), but damn, man. Respond, or something.

Well, I received mine yesterday, 8 weeks to the day from ordering!
Did you do anything to get rid of the smell on the one you already have, Valhallan? I've read some tips on that before but I can't remember where.

It's a rubber material. It's gonna smell like a tire for a long time. It'll fade, though.

I had the same problem with them. A blog review is here http://warfrog.blogspot.com/2011/05/buyers-review-zuzzy-miniatures.html I got my mats on day 42, just before I was going to have paypal issue a refund. The smell has dissipated. leave them unrolled and the scent will fade quicker

There was a thread here where people said to wash it with dish soap and water. Multiple times? Dunno. I like the look of their product, but these stories of long delivery times put me off.

I was actually just looking to see how much they cost, as I'll have a good chunk of change soon to spend on hobby stuff.
Then I saw for Australia they charge you +100% for shipping. Which is ridiculous. So I guess I'll spend it locally.

That much money and time for a mat, why don't you just build your own gaming board? sheesh.

Yeah, I looked at them as a result of this thread and had much the same kind of reaction when I saw their prices (and delivery times).

10 weeks and change, and still nothing. Three emails and a FB comment, and still nothing.
I do not recommend buying from them.
I've started going after them on social media, but I don't know how effective that's going to be, as they never check it.

I'm in the same boat at 10 weeks, and I'm moving shortly... so waiting isn't really an option for me :(
You can always file a complaint with the BBB. Might be worth a shot. It also looks like this is his personal Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/james.hubbs. Maybe message him via that? I also found a phone number that looks to be his: (315) 656-7208. Haven't tried that yet, though.

Yep, it's a darn shame. Our club has a few of these and we love them, but I wouldn't buy one myself based on what I'm reading here.

The general rule of thumb for Zuzzy is that they sell a great product, and that they are reliable in that you will always get the product you paid for. The flip side of the coin though is that there is no customer service to speak of, and it normally takes between one and three months for delivery.
It's not an ideal situation as a customer, but if you want the product badly enough, it's tolerable.
