So i been playing wh40k for a long long time (10 years +). Wanted to try something new and different.
Found this company named privateer press! tried it out first with my trollbloods army;

And i tried it out! And I love the game. But keep in mind that I still buying more imperial Guard models from time to time. Might be an army pic or two in this p&m blog.

So i bought the starterbox for my cygnar this morning and spent a few hours putting it together.
Decided that I'm gonna go for a white/golden color pallet.

On the left model the shield is not glued on yet easier to paint without it on.
Any suggestions?

So i sprayed it all with (took me about 3 layers och spray paint on each model but turned out good).
But they look abit hospital like..



And started on painting on the charger (the one with the big cannon). Haven't really figure out how to apply the white/gold color scheme.

So im going away for a few days on vacation!!! But I did manage to get an hold of Thunderhead and it's all metal model... Weight of about 1kg... I so far put the legs and 1/3 of the upper body together. And this model, is going to be both physically and mentally hard to glue into on piece...

After a week on vacation. Not much has happened on the modelin and painting front. Meet up with my friend and played a few games with my trollbloods army. Won 1/3 games! big success!!
But I did get some painting and gluing done the other day on my changer and Thunderhead (that is a big mentality challenge to glue together).

So far my white/bronze/metalworking changer is starting to come out really nice.





And the Thunderhead is getting real big! Bur I still need to get the arms and pipes glue onto it

So after some more vacation I been painting and gaming... With my win rate being about 20-25% I feel I need to play alot more games....

My painting project has been so far much more successful. My white/bronze/metalworking color scheme is starting to look good on the current model. So far I'm happy with what I produced so far.



Made some more touches and fixed all the white parts on the leg and highlights on the gun arm.

so Finaly i finshed my first warjack! and it turned out better then i expected, making white color scheme look good is somewhat difficult!.
I'm happy and gonna move on with the project! and i all ready started the second light warjack. but this morning when i was setting up my painting station i drop the warjack on the floor.... broke into two pieces..
almost rage quit..... but some glue will hopefully bring it back to life ....

But here are the pictures of the first finished warjack.






and hopefully i will have my 35p army in the mailbox tomorrow and monday/thueday every thing will be glued together and and army shot will be posted!

That warjack is looking very nice, the white is nice and smooth.

So finally my second warjack done! Took Me a whole day to paint but turned out a little bit better. Despite the fact that I hade to repaint to whole leg part of the model (3 hour spent down the toilet) ....

And did a quick math problem to notice that I'm only using 6 paints for the whole model plus another 3 for the base.....



And the warjack got thumbs up from my friends when I showed them the models!!!! Even better!! Got a stryker in paint shop too but no pictures yet of it..

So after many coats of white my strycker is finally done and grassed.



And on other news my mailorder came on Monday and I tried a 35 point game two times and lots both times. But I need to play about 100 more til I have figured out how to play with them 100%.
I will post a picture of the army as soon as I base coated them!

And I almost finished painting the starterbox modells. Post that picture tomorrow..

SO DONE! the startbox is done ! toke me some time to finish but i did it! Now all the remains is the rest of the army....



Added some blueish tones to the other light warjack to keep the blue detail path going. and it change alot to the model as a whole Just need to figure out where to add some blue tones to the Heavyjack. any ides?



started spary painting the "main" battle group white. post that one soon...

I realized that during the the summer months of the year, I rather spend out side in the sun.
So painting and modelling is a now with baby steps then giant footsteps.. So for the last week or so I just managed or paint 2 modells.
But at least base coat my 35 point army white. That requires 3 or 4 layers of coat to make it white cover.

I must admit, when you said white and gold for Cygnar, I didn't think it would look good at all.

But it do takes alot of time just for one modell... Atleast 3/4 hours minimum per model...

So it's been awhile since i last posted something in here.... Being +27 Celsius in Sweden right now ..
Just standing up or getting out of bed is hard, without breaking a sweat.... Ontop of that there is not so much of a breeze. making it even hotter....

But, on the plus side i have manage to get a little bit of painting done and a few games as well...

this model is turning out to be a difficult one to paint.. lots of white areas that needs to be shaded.. and more white...
i done about haft now and i think i need to spend about another 4-6 hours just doing shades.. i hope it will go faster thou...






and done legs and right arm on my centurion heavy warjack!
The centurion is alot easier to paint. beging that is bigger... but it need about the same amount of time... rought 10 hours....

After a loong break from painting my cygnar army (been atending my Troolbloods army).
Im back to cygnar With epic Nemo done and Alain Runewood aswell!




So now im multi-taskig, painting my Centurion, Mulg and warwagon at the same time!
plaining my next buy for hordes/warmachine!
Waiting for the plastic set of Earthborn dire troll, and runeshapers, going for a 35p/50p Runes of war lists.
With that im also geting gunmages +ua and black 13Th gunmages, and might gunmage solo or two. But that is not for a month or two.

Sp after some more time spent in my workshop corner (aka my girlfriends desk) i finshed my centurion. the color of it is white





and yes it's the old metal model so it's heavy about 500 g

and also color of looking real good! it toke me some thime to finsh this model but i did it soon i will start on Dj thunder. but before that i will do the hammersmith warjack, i do need some more pratce before i try something big like Dj thunder.
I do wonder what the colossal will look like all in white? do i need to try it?

Sometimes when you are painting a model and the part that you are painting suddenly comes off... and i feel like i wanna kill someone. it's time for a break....

take 5 min and make a cup or two of coffe.. take out the glue. and start over.




but on other hand i made some wreck markers. both 50mm and 40mm. Just need to go over them with colors and some painting love.




On other notes:
when a warjack dies in warmachine it creats a wreck marker but when a warbeast in hordes dies noting is created.... ??? Hmmmm.

So more painting and more painting.

Finally finished my Hammer smith war jack! and started on my Field Mechanics. Just done 1 model out of 5 thou. But progress is slowing moving forward.
also started on one of my many wreck markers, these bases are alot easier to paint then big highly detailed war jack/caster.





As i promised i start on Dj thunder. just the legs so far but i stared.

So now i have managed to paint a Cygnar full unit of field Mechnics.





and as you can see i painted the number 1 on each one of them on the back of the base. that is because im gonna run two min units of them at 35p.
when my oppent starts baning at one of my 3 heavyjack and it's survives with 1 or 2 boxes left i can repair it. and below are the dice i can use and skill level.
1d6 at a skill of [9]
2d6 at a skill of [8]
6d6 at a skill of [6] that i can combie to 2d6 at skill [9].

and all in total a min of 5d6 or a max of 9d6 per turn.

So! I finally received some more modells. For my cygnar and my trollbloods.
Black 13th, stone scribe chronicle, another unit of warders and an brand new plastic kit of an earthborn dire troll.
Did some gaming in my local gaming club against a cryx player this last weekend an I need more models.... Haven't field tested my cygnar yet. But soon. About next time I get a chance to play.

I like how you've progressed from the battle box to 35 point army keeping the same colors and making the army cohesive force.

thanks! atm, you will have to wait abit longer, just started doing Thunderhead. there is alot of detail work on him. but he is comming along nicely. A good looking model! and will probly stand ut in it's own.

So, just finished the other unit of Field mechanics(totaly of 2 so far, if my army goes any bigger ei 100point games i might do another two units of them) and i dident really think i need to post a picture of the same unit twice.....
But instead i though i would be a good idé of posting a picture of the total army progress so far?




It's starting to look really good, i do think i need to add some units, might be loooong gunners and Gun mages (or two). anything oher i might need to buy??

Nice looking army. The clean white really suits the jacks and the infantry fit in well too.

I don't see a squire in there, that is essential to Cygnar with most of the caster benefitting a lot from bringing that little trashcan to battle. Gun mages are good, especially with UA and marshalled hunter. Boomhowlers are also a good unit to have as Cygnar is lacking a good tarpit in faction.

the squire will get there, im doing this prodject and, aswell as my Trollbloods! and my Apocalyptic Astral MIniturium army (4500p 250ish inf. models + some tanks)

so it's one model at the time. The squire will be in the next shiping trip! aswell as Gunmages + UA. Might buy them in the next month or so.

at the moment i have to paint:
EMadrak, Pgissel, Warders, Stonescribe cronicle, earthborn dire troll, Pborka, Bouncer, warwagon (alsmost done)

Thunderhead, Black 13th, Wreckmarkers

Astral min; Tanks and 45ish Guardsmen.


And im nt in a hurry. one model at a time.

I'm sorry for keeping you waiting for more pictures of my progress!! but this thunderhead model is time consuming!! spent another 5 hours on the right hand side arm! plus another on he legs and lower part of the body!
think there will be at least another day or so painting it! but i have primed my black 13th, but i did them white! so it will be white 13th!
