Most definitely time for me. I work so much it's just sad. Sure I have plenty of money to buy anything I want from forge world, but when do I get to use it. I've got 2 titan, and have only played apocalypse once.
Ebay is terrible, I take 5 minutes out of working and hop on and buy a bunch of crap I'll never use. What good is having a pile of cool minatures at your house if you never get to paint them?

As a retail wage slave (a well paid wage slave, but slave nonetheless), I work when most people can game. I have to get an okay from the wife to go to any weekend tourneys, as that's vacation time that we might be spending together instead. Fortunately, my FLGS has league nights on my days off. Otherwise, no gaming for me at all.

Yeah full-time school and a one-month old is not friendly to my gaming desires. Time is an issue, but then again I'm still trying to host games at my house more often. The wife is cool with it because I'm still home, but I can help her out as well. Just trying to deal with life.

Location. I live in hicksville USA, with the nearest gaming store an hour and 15 minutes away. When I lived a block away from Alantis Comics in VA Beach, I placed at least 1 a week. Sometimes twice.

Lack of interest.
I rarely paint/convert more than 2-5 figures in a single sitting before I get bored/tired and go play computer games for hours on end instead. I also don't game much, maybe once a month, if that. Part of that is because I want to make changes to my armies and don't want to play with them with my current configurations, but I just can't work up the energy/effort to actually paint the new units, and I simply refuse to put unpainted figures on the table.

I'm 14 and without a part-time job (maccas rejected me) . So I rarely can manage to scrape together enough money to buy anything. Also time, I don't get home from school unitl Five o'clock and have training for fencing on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. That combined with homework and other social engagements, leaves very little time for gaming and painting. Automatically Appended Next Post: My parents also don't approve of me painting or gaming during the school week. There, time again... So much to do, so little time...

I find it hard to wargame because I am at a secondary school and you can get quite teased by people. For example now I am in a school library typing and having to constantly look over my shoulde4r to make shure no one is watching.

The Problem with the game lasting so long is that I can only play at the weekends or in the school holidays, and I have so much bloody work to do I hardly have time to even paint and build during the week

Time is the least of my problems, and the most at the same time. I just spent 8 months on disability and about to spend another 6-8 months. So I can play all I want, However my weekends are booked most of the time. That and when I do get the chance to be free on the weekends, the local LGS are full or the regulars only want to play the regulars.
So guess its time and people.

Money, money, money! I wanted a fully mechanized IG army but even at cut rates (APCS for 10 pounds apiece) I cant' do it so my troops will have to slog it. I may just keep them a 500 point force for now and go back to my Grail Knights.

I find it hard to stick with an army. Whenever something new comes out I lose interest in what I was doing and start collecting the new army. This leads to a lot of half finished projects.

The fact that some of my army isnt finished yet, and the fact that I'm constantly busy on weekends now (TDY, then working night shift for an exercise, then girlfriend came to visit, now working night shift over the weekend for yet another exercise.) Here's hoping nothing comes up next weekend.

Lack of people is probably mine. I have plenty of money for models, and can usually play after work and on the weekends..
Gotta love 3 12 hour shifts a week!
The problem for me is lack of people (FANTASY SPECIFIC). I dont have a 40k army, and am thinking of starting one just to get games in. But i constantly walk into the store, see 4-5 40k games going on, and zero fantasy games. So i walk right back out.
