your NMM is shockingly good. I'm usually not the biggest NMM fan, but this stuff is unreal.

What colors do you use?

Thanks Ailaros!
I have sadly moved away from using nmm for the entire army like I had originally planned, but at least I got some practice in on it when I was trying for it.

I believe all I used was snakebite leather that I gradually added bleached bone to before doing a final highlight of pure bleached bone and then a dot of skull white.
I think the hardest part for me was maintaining the consistency. Since I'm using GW paints and I haven't moved them to dropper bottles, I find it frustrating to mix colors consistently at times.

Well, those heads came in today so I got right to work at building the warrior unit. I actually had the unit base coated but it ended up really inconsistent on the shields and armor because I kept trying new things so I ended up just stripping them.

But now I have a full 20 with Halberds and the plumed helmets!

I really like how they came out. It just has a very Slaaneshy feel to it I think.

I also got another 30 Halberds and 50 Great Weapons (those are for Nurgle Warriors however) that should be arriving tomorrow which means I will need to order up another 30 Black Lotus heads at some point.

At any rate, let me know what you think, do they look more Slaaneshy with those heads over the normal ones?

They def have a very proud look to them very different, so I guess one could say they were lustful!

Indeed they will M0rdain!

I've been working quite a bit on my Nurgle stuff lately, but I actually plan on finishing up Vashnir (Chaos Lord) tonight and possibly even Aesthera (Sorcerer) so I will definitely post pictures.

Also, I started reworking the BSB as I managed to get a Dragon Prince banner which is just massive (thus why that warrior unit now has the Horsemen banner, whereas the BSB was planned to have it).

And lastly, as soon as it stops raining and the weather clears up a bit I should start repainting the FW Giant Spawn that I've been using as a Slaanesh Giant.

Well, I decided to join the Nurgle army blog I started with this one and continue to use this single blog for all my Chaos armies. As is, I work sporadically on 5 different Chaos armies, and rather than start another two blogs for Tzeentch and Khorne (the Troll army I just haven't updated since its been so long, but now I can!) I'm better off just updating everything here.

So there will probably be a lot of fluff hitting the floor, and many more updates! Sorry for anyone who only cared about Slaanesh or Nurgle... or Trolls specifically.

Edit: I also picked up some of the Alien Purple Army Painter spray and went to spray that Warrior unit. However, I am no facing a dilemma on how I want to paint them. After seeing the model entirely in purple (cloak namely) and realizing just how much I would hate painting all the cloaks white (which wasn't coming out well anyways) I am thinking of changing up the scheme a bit. Imagine if you will the unit with both purple armor and cloaks with white fur and helmet plumes along with the silver weapons and brown gloves/boots. Of course I still plan on adding the highlighted lashes to the armor. Do you think this would look better than the test scheme I originally had?

But, since we're moving everything here, here is the pictures from my Nurgle blog!

Well, I once again apologize for the delay in updates. I've been rather busy (and by that I mean I play way too much WoW in my free time) and thus haven't done much in the way of painting. However, I finally managed to knock out a test model for a newer scheme and get some very early base coats on the rest of the unit.
It's not much and everything is in a few different stages, but if nothing else you can at least see those awesome plumed helmets!
As far as I'm concerned their ego is reflected by the size of the plume!

I took the pictures in a rather pitiful lighting situation so excuse the lack of detail, but at least you get the main idea of what I'm aiming for.
And look forward to more updates (hopefully) since I'm trying to get the Symphony completed for tournament play.

Thanks Johnny. I think the plumed helmets really aid in the overly excessive Slaanesh feel.

Did you take my advice on the purple or did you use Army Painter?

They look very nice!

I went with the army painter spray actually, and if I recall correctly I washed it in purple then black.
Only the one actually has the wash applied so far, however.

This update has been long overdue, and I apologize. But to be completely honest, I just haven't been into the much as of late, and up until yesterday, I hadn't done any work since the last update. However, I am now invigorated once again and ready to push out some fresh models.

And to kick it off, here is the first five of the Nurgle Warriors I have painted for the Breath of Horrid Repose, and while they are not completely finished (skulls on the cape/bases/chainmail loincloth along with a few other details still needing attention), you can at least see the paint scheme.

Let me know what you think of the scheme, and whether or not there's anything I can improve upon.

*I had to take these pictures on my phone, and I couldn't decide which background was capturing their true appearance more, so I'll just give you a plethora of pictures to observe.

Thanks guys. I actually just finished painting the sorcerer, so as soon as the water effects on the base dry, Ill take pictures. Hopefully I can take em and get them up tomorrow. Also working on 10 more warriors and a test marauder, so there will be plenty of updates this time around.

Theres a 2k tourney this week and I'd love to get the army painted for it since the scheme is so easy.

We'll see how it goes though!

I didn't get as much done as I had hoped, and the pictures with taken with great haste for the sake of posting an update. So hopefully I can provide some better shots as the models come to a finish.

At any rate, here is The Sorcerer and the WIP Warriors.

You're an inspiration. I think when I get around to finally painting my Tzeentch Fantasy army(Warriors mainly with Beast, Daemon, and Chaos Dwarf supprt), I may have to try a plog for them. Hope it's half as good and interesting as yours!

Should be able to push out an update either tomorrow or Thursday.

Not so much a painting update but a "whats to come" update! I'm hoping to finish off another 10 Warriors tonight and then paint up 20 more tomorrow, along with 50 marauders across today/tomorrow in hopes to be prepared for the tournament.
I also the hellcannon based and ready to be primed, so hopefully I can start painting that tonight (I have some exciting plans for it... but I'll save those for later).

And of course there's the real reason for the update. I apparently came across an AoW Chaos Lord that I completely forgot I had obtained in a trade, and since I couldn't find anything but the body, I quickly went to work looking through my bits.
Alas, he has emerged with a scythe and shield, and based on the way the scythe looks, he can easily work as a Sorcerer or Lord! Which is perfect for me, since I needed a second Sorcerer.
I also threw in a picture of him (and my actual Lord for the army) inside a unit, so you can see how they fit.
