I'd say lose the lower set of horns. Maybe have a smaller pair on top like the first DP? It'd tie them in nicely. I like the idea of using the necrosphynx parts for lower leg armour, have you considered using it's feet as well? (I think I can see them in the bottom piccy, but I can't be sure.)

Im gonna have a rake through my bitzbox to see if I have any other horns Im not sure of them myself. The feet on him are just the standard DP ones, the Necros feet are a bit too big so look a little strange.

This new DP looks promising. The Necrosphynx bits you've used for the legs are nice, what part is it exactly and where did you get it?

If you allow me an opinion, I agree with ghosty on the horns, and I'd suggest to move the lower jaw upward, as it seemed to be on your first pic.

What do you have in mind for the arms?

I'm not too sure about the horns either. I'll try some other options later on. I will be returning the jaw to the original position as I agree looking back at the pics today it looks better. For the arms I'll probably use the standard DP arms altered a little or I have some Minotaur arms I may try I don't know if the scale will be right on them though. And all opinions are welcome buddy. The necro sphinx parts are the leg armour I got them from Hoard o Bits on eBay a while back and thought of give them a try. I need to work on them to get the to fit the style of the helmet a little more.

Loving what you've done with the daemon princes. Second one is already looking very promising, great use of some really diverse parts. It really is amazing what you can put together if you look hard enough at all the different ranges!

Thanks buddy. One of the things I love to do is sit and stare at a pile of bits for ages until suddenly I get an idea and start cutting

The Dreadnought sarcophogus looks excellent! Would you mind if I 'liberated' a few of your ideas for work on my own Dreadies? I have a FW Blastmaster Dreadnought readied up for my Emperor's Children but alas, I cannot be spending £48 on resin kits all the time.

Go for it buddy! The main inspiration behind my dread was the Forgeworld kits. I didn't want to spend silly money on them but wanted something similar looking so got creative. ;-) Of you use anything from the dread I'd love to see what you come up with. :-D

Why does R/L always crop up when you start modelling? Anyway had a little free time tonight so had another look at the horns and have another set for your opinions. As you can see nothing has been properly cleaned/prepped Im just roughing out ideas at this point. Let me know what you think.

*EDIT LOST PICS* :(
The helmet will be extended back slightly and the horns will of course be pinned a little straighter once I start work on the final head. All comments and criticism is welcomed folks.

The horns are far better this way!
I think the previous version distracted the attention from the mask and jaw.

What kind of weapons will you use?

I agree. I like the idea of the horns but they were just too big. As for weapons I have no idea. I was thinking of knocking up a set of lightning claws just to see how they'd look. Really not sure though.

Right guys, I decided to stop working on my DP/Titan and start concentrating on the actual Worldeaters themselves. Spent the afternoon rocking out to Fear Factory and chopping plastic and this is where Im at. The Skull Champ is obv still very much WIP. Hes gonna need quite a bit of Greenstuffing.

Great thread, I actually LIKE the use of the bunny ears! Normally I don't like them.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Thanks Dez, I hate the standard heads in the Berzerker kit, actually I hate most of that kit. I only really use the legs and backpacks. I saw a guy (Teethgrinda) do this kind of conversion a few years back and loved the results.

I agree! The helms look great! I may have to steal that method, I have been putting off getting my Zerkers finished because I really don't like how boring the standard zerker looks. I may have to spice them up a bit by "slicing" them up a bit! I don't think Berzerkers would mind that logic!

RSJake I think that sounds like a very Zerker thing to do

I dont think this site has been active for a while as Im sure he had some bother with his employer. (he works for GW) but it is still one of the best resources for WorldEater players on the net in my opinion.

Wow I really, really like his paint scheme. I know, it's black and red but the way it's done is very pleasing to the graphic designer in me.

I mixed all sorts of parts into my berzerker squads, I found the Death Company parts very useful. I really like the legs you get with it and the blood vials on the chainswords.

Quick look at how they stand now. Not much has changed since earlier but I have twisted a couple of heads around.
*EDIT LOST PICS* :(
Only the Skull champ to finish and another zerker to build to complete the unit of 8.

Yeah something like that RSJake. i was honestly just messing around this aftrenoon before work and decided to destroy the missle launcher guy from AoBR. It will need some work but I reckon a squad of Havocs would look pretty Bad A**

Zerkers are all built now and just awaiting final details (ie removing the SW insignia and GS the gaps) before I paint them.
I also ordered a Furioso right arm as Im thinking of giving the Dread dual DCCW's. What do you think? Stick with the TLHB or switch?

Great job man. I love the Daemon Princes. Any chance we can get a close up of the marines? I would love to see how the yellow turns out.

If it's a Khorne Dread, it should ALWAYS have dual DCCW! Well, in my opinion anyway!

@RSJake. A guy over on B+C nailed the idea of the Dread perfectly.
SincaiN said
'I think the look of duel DCCWs looks very menacing .. I'm sure a huge behemoth with a giant gun would be too but it stalking up on you throwing sparks as it grinds its bladed fingers together really strikes me ... that's my vote .. '

So yeah the DCCW is staying I just need to figure out how to work up a right handed claw similar to the left.

For PapaPiggy.
Heres as good a pic as Im going to get of my Scythes rough test. The guy on the left is pre Golden yellow layers. and you can see where Ive washed the bascoat of Iyanden on the Dread
