Nice work Slinky! liking the Landraider with the CH parts! looks really good although i'd like to see some slightly less bright shots one day? :-) the techmarine is good too and I like the concept of the blade, something different that works well, I vote you get a wiggle on and paint that Tartaros! I am yet to see Sallies done in that armour!

Made some more progress on the Tartaros Terminator.


I am pretty pleased with the way the old Salamander pattern on the shield came out, and I think I'll do the same for all his buddies.

That's one fantastic mix between the old and new! I absolutely hate their old scheme, but works like a charm on his shield!

My replacement torsos arrived, and they look absolutely fine, so now I'll be able to assemble the rest

I've always liked the salamanders chapter and flames , but the colors never looked just right. Your terminator however is perfect. The only thing I might do different if I could opt that would be a yellow helmet. The white just looks weird to me or one reason. It looks great, just doesn't fit my plans.

I ordered a LE Salamanders codex.

I just couldn't resist since the Salamander on the cover has a Mk IV helmet just like all my models.

Half happy, half annoyed at the ludicrous price (£70!!!).

Next up, a 5-man combat squad of tactical marines - Got the torsos/heads and shoulder pads from FW in the post yesterday, now to assemble them

Made a bit more progress (no pics, sorry). All the green is now done, and that's the bit that takes longest, so hopefully will finish them off soon.

Unfortunately I am temporarily out of hobby funds, so can't get the bikers just yet. Will be painting a couple of my Mierce Darklands figures while I wait...

Once these are painted up, my 1500pts army will be complete at last. I'm planning to leave it there, any larger battles will be done via allies, as I have so many other half done projects I should be finishing off...
