Yo yo! Kasrkin are still underway but the updates are a little repetitive so I figured i'd spice it up and show some 3rd company ultramarine allies ive been working on! (note the bases are the same)

Arrggh! Mold lines on the tank's plasma barrel! To quote Darth Vader- "NOOOOOooooooooo!!!" Don'cha hate that? What do you do though? File it off and re-paint or hope nobody notices. Normally I go with 'hope nobody notices'. Some jerk like me always does. I'm de-flashing my old school IG right now and it is such a chore. That old 80's plastic is really hard to file down.

I really like the conversions and the paint jobs. Clean, simple, great poses and full of character. The shading is great and you've really captured the grim, dark future thing. Love it. I'll be watching this thread.

@MCG Yeeeeeeeeea i'm getting rid on my mold lines now to the best of my ability on my models but I don't think that one is as visible in real life. Either that or it slipped right by me ):<

Great work. The urban camo looks really good, and the colour scheme is unified without being monotone. Ultras are also looking good.

Attempted my first ever OSL job today, a very basic one on the kasrkin plasma gun in anticipation for the arrival of the new kits, also based this sentinel which i'll be adding to the force

I cant offer you any advice on the OSL (only tried it once), but it looks good. Subtle and effective.

Looks very good. The OSL is nice and understated, not too in-your-face. It's also very neat, and looks natural.

They've finally arrived! 6 Scion boxes, a chimera, the new codex, regimental advisors, a commissar and of course the web exclusive SM!
Started assembly, and constructed a hq set and a normal one, painting starts very soon! Keen as to do these guys up

Great stuff one comment the Space Marines power weapon while excellent would have been even better with a contrasting colour.

My first thought: 'oh look, LDP has another Space Marine Captain. They're literally giving them away now!'

Posing on the scions looks nice, and seems to make the most of the kits. Looking forward to this.

Woohoo! So pleased with the result of my first Temptestus Scion mini, painted him entirely on and off from ~9:30-3:30, and I love the kit! It was really fun, very proud of the outcome, tell me what you think guys!

Really like the glow on the plasma.

The use of catachan bodies with cadians is really well done, I like the powerfist officer looking over the handout/map. That's a really really cool model!

Very very nice! The red lenses and wrist panel look brilliant, which colours did you use for them?

I started with a mix of Khorne red and black, gradually brightning up to pure mechrite red, then blood red, then a 50/50 mix of blazing orange and blood red, then pure blazing orange, and just a white dot in the opposite corner

Awesome stuff, that scheme is great, and the use of the 'screens' on the wrist armour is a great idea. The mix of neatness and weathering is also very nice.

Hey hey! Another scion down today, yesterday was spent in the city for record store day so sorry I got no painting done, but I did scoop up a bunch of tanks for a very good price! So yes, here's what I have:
