Oh yes, lots of Priest are in the plans. Those will be highly individual miniatures and I'm really looking forward to making those - hence they will also be added slowly, since I was planning on using them as kind of an reward to my self after doing some units, "now you have been a good boy - go make a priest"

Thanks for the suggestions on part, had not considered skaven, but have a look into the range - and I love the blightwheel miniatures, all ready have silly amounts of their stuff
The praetorian optio, actually has one of their servo arms.

good... i have recently made a purchase of the more armored ones for some sinister needs of mine ... they do provide lots of conversion potential!

Have started to build Murder Servitors. Hot-wired point and release killing machines. Personally I see them as failed experiments of the Biologis department - "Damn, another failed test subject! Slab on something sharp and showe it out the door".

Lots more pics in my blog: http://forgemechanicus.blogspot.dk/

Nasty looking little buggers. I definitely wouldn't want to run into them in a back alley. They look fantastically brutal.

Thanks a lot guys, brutal and nasty goes so well with these.
The heads are from puppetswar, cannot recall the name right now.
The cables are made from greystuff using a tubetool. Really a great tool, takes a bit of practise to use though.

I love the conversion work you're doing, and the painting looks great. Looking forward to more.

Awesome work I had some similar visions in mind for a little project, but never considered using those Puppetswars heads good call

I thought the cables were the tube maker tool, great fun to use and surprising some of the results you get from it, I even managed to make some cable length that looked like frag grenades

I like the AnvilIndustries arms mixed with chain swords,I believe thats what they are anyway.

Great conversions and some nice work there I am keeping a close eye on this thread

thanks manus... seems for scary stuff to make good conversions one has to get some of the DE stuff

Thanks once again guys.

@lone dirty dog: yep, the tube tool is good fun. Actually I've accidently made those grenade looking cables as well - you simply turn one of the tube-plates the wrong way, think it works best with the large size though.
The chainblades are actually the bayonets from anvilindustry and not chainswords.

@viktor: DE has all the really evil stuff, especially the Cronos is one of the most twisted kits out there IMO:

The larger version is best although the small one makes great looking power cells, I could not put my finger on it but the chainblades did not look like GW versions, now you said it is rather obvious

Either way great work and some really cool looking minis.

these cable flails/tentrils always are one of the creepiest details one could come up with... do you plan on sculpting more details there?

@LDD: nope, it's guitarwire - the thinnest I've got, don't know the name though.

@viktor: I haven't planned more details - anything special you were thinking about?

well the segmented look....like doc ocks tentacles or any other tech tentacles look like...

Ah I think I see what you mean. By looking at the pictures it does seem like a flat solding wire, it is not however. Must be due to the lighting in the pic, but it does have the "normal" guitarwire-segmented-look - just washes out in the pic.

ah... that is good.... i really couldn´t think why you would use bare looking wire for those tentacles!

and the new guy(?) looks really creepy... the syringe arm and the double hooked claw are really brutal !

I agree with Vik this one has more of a sinister feel about it, kind of old movie Dracula stance.
